Or the one just before the top one on saturday were he flexed his biceps and was surrounded by team mates
Your first pose did not show on my computer but I assume it's like this? :- https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/r...uvIqUQJ4ydXRLWLRFP0t0H-OCM2AcA0tqpI6OwbGU8yCk If so, that's the one for me
In the first picture, is he re-enacting the scene from Godfather II where Corleone shoots Don Fanucci?
i feel if there ever is a statue of grant holt outside carrow road, many ipswich fans in deepest darkest suffolk will suddenly migrate to norfolk, fall at the statues feet and begin to worship him. he is, after all, all they ever talk about
I like the thought of having more than one statue, one to show each angle of Holt. Just as you have "Laughing Buddah" and "Meditating Buddah" etc.
Just got back from a very pleasant few days in Rome, and during the old tour of the Vatican (Jesus, what an incredible place that is by the way, not religious in the slightest, but I was completely in awe of it all, just amazing) and I saw at least a dozen Grant Holt statues dotted around amongst the Botticelli's. Also found out that is was Grant Holt and NOT Michaelangelo who painted the Sistine Chapel. Apparently he did it all with half a potato and some poster paint And this bit is genuinely, genuinenly true! Got chatting to a couple of Italian geezers in a bar last night while watching the Arsenal game and when I told them I supported the mighty Norwich City one of them said "ah yes, Norwich, I know them, they play good football and have nice players" and the other one said "ah, I like the big guy, Grant Holt, he is very very good" and they both seemed to genuinely know quite a bit about us - quality! Made my day that did, the legend of Holt is already spreading it's way around the globe and surely NOTHING can stop it!
I got married just outside of Rome Munky. Awesome place. Been there twice in the last 4 years. So much history and like you am not religous but is an amazing place to visit. Did you notice on your way around that all the statues in the Vatican have had the privates removed!!! Apparently Holts had to be carted away by fork-lift trucks!
It was the first time I'd been and I'm definitely going back. I've travelled all over the world and seen some truly amazing things in my time but the stuff at The Vatican is right up there with the most incredible of the lot. Simply breathtaking - and the women aren't too shabby either
