I love the Grand National - the only time I flutter - and I have a good record.
Off to Tenby tomorrow and fully expect to spend my winnings there, before coming back to the Engineers Arms St Johns Lane for my nephews 21st.
Celebrating a City win of course!!!!

Do you a 1/4 of the odds on half your £25 bet?

Ffs. First year in 6 I lost money.
    Not a single win.

Still at least no horses died and City didn't lose!

lefty can make a bit of a charge like a few years back, coming in on two great rounds on the last two rounds. But could be a boring day tomorrow if Spieth is too far in front.

As I type this Hoffman moves to within 4

took the odds of 33/1 so £25 goes to win = £850 back if it wins
and £25 for the place total £50...

    1/4 odds = 33/4 x £25 = £231.25 back less my stakes on lose win and place = £181.25 real profit ( I do a loose calculation in my head of a 1/4 of 33 = 8 its actualy of course 8.25 )

HOW DID I PICK IT, READ OLD SPARKY'S POST...9 year old carrying 10st 6 lbs!
