The Gooners are in really big trouble!

What's happening across town, at The New Library?

Clichy talking to Liverpool, Nasri talking to United, Fabregas determined to join Barca, Arshavin not happy, Bendtner leaving, Denilson leaving... The list goes on and on.

    Clearly, something is not right.

If the Gooners lose those players they are going to be in big trouble next season, and I can see them finishing outside the top 4. That would be a real disaster for them, and could see them spiral into oblivion.

This isn't mere wishful thinking on my behalf, but a genuine belief.

What do you guys make of all this.

PLEASE: no Gooner WUMs coming on here merely to say how great they are and how crap we are. Please try to make constructive comments, preferably without looking through your usual rose-tinted spectacles.<ok>

Now that is wishful thinking <ok>

I would say post it on their board but most of them are on here anyway so it wont be long before they spam this thread with the usual "How many Prem titles do you have" blah blah ****ing blah....

If you read between the lines about Nasri, does this imply that Ferguson now sees Arsenal as a bunch of also-rans to strip mine as he sees fit, or are we just sitting through the latest round of the tiresome "mind games" he plays with other managers that serve no purpose but filling airtime on Sky Sports News, and demonstrating what an utter **** he is?

I think it implies that at last Wenger thinks Arsenal are a bunch of also-rans <ok>

In my opinion, Nasri's doing one of two things.
Either he's genuinely pissed off with not being played in what he views as his best position and not winning any trophies at Arsenal and wants to join Man Utd or he's after a massive wage hike.
    Time will tell, I guess.

Clichy seems to be pulling an Ashley Cole, too and the Fabregas thing just never fully goes away.
Bendtner wants to be considered a first XI player and allowed to actually play as a striker and Denilson's ****.

Bendtner isn't a first XI-standard player - yet, onh the other hand, you can't say he's a worse option than Chanakh up front...

Nasri - Wants to be on par with Fabregas's wage and more then RVP. The club feel that six good months is not enough for this to happen. If he leaves its for a club outside England. Wenger has already ruled out a transfer to United.

Gael Clichy - Utter donkey. Ruins our offside line week in week out. Useless crossing and hopeless defending. I will gald to see the back of him.

    Cesc Fabregas - *YAWN*

Bendtner - Never going to be better then Van Persie so wants to leave to play week in week out.

    Denilson - <laugh>

I was reading this earlier too, I think if the players mentioned do leave the Goons will be in the ****.
It would be best for fiberglass if he does leave, he is being wasted at the library as he doesn't want to be there. I was quite happy to hear bacon nose is looking at Nasri, maybe he's got the picture that Modders is not going anywhere and he needs to stop looking at WHL for players.
The rest of the Goons leaving have never really cut it in the PL so I can see why Winger is getting rid of them. <ok>

What's going on at Arsenal, is probably alot of their bigger name players are sick and tired of not winning, when they have the opportunity. Every season there's talk about how Arsenal are going to win this that and the other, and every season they disappoint, the players must be getting bored of that. They rave about Jack Wilshire, how long before he gets bored of it as well. The guy has so much talent, he deserves to be winning trophies

And who will that be? Fabregas only wants to leave to one club. Nasri is playing a dangerous game in order to get more money. Clichy is a usless donkey. It tells you all you need to known that we only started talking to him about his contract with a year left on it. Denilson and Bendtner are squad players that want to play more. Out of that lot only Cesc is looking to move in order to win trophies. Its not a coincidence that Nasri and his agent have used the United link in a time when they are not getting the wage hike they want.

    SuperSamirNasri8...

Again, you appear to be completely missing the point. Whether or not you rate any of these players, the fact is that a lot of them are not happy at Arsenal and want to leave.

As for Nasri, it is being widely reported that he is already in talks with United.

You keep looking through your rose-tinted spectacles, pal. Us folk in the real world can see that your club is in big trouble.

Ruling out a move to MUPLC is a dangerous game for Wenger, simply because if Nasri allows his contract to wind down, there's nothing stopping him headed that way for the grand total of £0.00.

Arshavin has been perpetually linked with a move back to Russia in a similar way to us being perpetually linked to Joe Cole - personally, I can't see Arshavin moving back to Zenit, because if he did want to leave it would more likely be to Spain or Italy, where he can have his wage demands and expectation of Champion's League football met.

I and many Gooners will be over the moon if three out of those 5 leave (Denilson,Clichy and Bendtner). We will get money and Wenger will have to spend to repalce that trio. Which is what we all want. Fabregas wants to leave for one club and fair enough he has done all he can for us so if Barca come up with the right fee then he goes. And again we will get a lot of money from Barca which goes to the transfer kitty.

Nasri CAN'T speak to United without our permission. So thats more BS from you. Wenger has like i said has already ruled out a move to United for Nasri. There is infromation for good sources that we have made contact with Lille over Eden Hazard so if Nasri leaves he is the perfect replacement.

Have to say, all this speculation is irrelevant made up tosh.

What interests me about Arsenal, is what do they need to do in order to win a trophy, and will they do it?

When I speak with Gooner friends of mine I hear mixed messages:
we need some strikers to help RVP,
we need some steel in the middle of the park,
    we need a decent keeper,
    we need a new defence,
we need to get rid of Wenger.. he is stuck in his ways and is a stubborn old coot obsessed with building a team of youngsters on a budget and with walking the ball into the freakin' net..

Sounds like they need the best part of a new team and a manager.

Still finished above Spurs though :emoticon-0112-wonde

How many times have we heard opposition wums saying this? When Thierry Henry left it was supposed to be the end of Arsenal, and yet we've been there in the Champions League every season since <ok>

It strikes me as somewhat hypocritical that some spurs fans are quick to jump on newspaper speculation as evidence of an exodus at Arsenal, whilst at the same time dismissing it as bullshit when the same papers talk about Bale and Modric leaving.

To compare Fabregas, Bendtner and Nasri, who have all said they want to leave with Modric and Bale who have stated their desire to get Champions League football WITH Spurs is daft.

You're going down with QPR <ok>

Bale and Moddy have both said they want to stay at Spurs, whilst Nasri, Fabregas and Glichy have all said that want to leave AFC <doh>

We wanted Arshavin but the deal fell through and we took RP instead. I felt that Arshavin would have been good for us and I would consider a bid. It's not only Arsenal that could have problems next season with so many players leaving. Chelsea are leaderless and unless they get somebody better than Ancelotti (And I don't think that Hiddink is) then they could be in a spot of bother too.
