Who's gonna be in the sticks next season then? Marshall didn't have a good start to his time here but it's safe to say we all know he's a much better keeper than we've seen from him in a city shirt. Jak had a purple patch but now looks bang average and we've been shipping goals. You can't just blame the defence. Piss poor for all 4 goals today. As the season unfolded it's become clearer and clearer that he never is and never will be a number 1. He's a top bloke but a being a top bloke doesn't help you win football matches. No idea how McGregor has done at Cardiff, a bad back can be problematic. Either way, he wasn't really a steady keeper anyway and I'm not sure he's the answer. Marshall is clearly our best hope out of the current lot, I've a feeling someone may take a punt on him, and if they don't there's no guarantee he'll get his mojo back.
One-on-one with Zaha, a free header for Benteke, a penalty... you can't blame Jak for the goals today.
Marshall was blamed for the same situations so Jak has to take the blame for today. It goes both ways. Regardless of however the four chances came about, you have to ask questions of any keeper that lets four in on a steady run of conceding 26 goals in 13 games.
We wouldn't have got 10 bob for the Jak this time last year. Could get some half decent money now. Time to cash out.
Well at least you won't have to stump up the £2 million adds ons to Cardiff for appearances and staying up , see its not all bad
We paid more than enough for Marshall and he has a contract, no other club will buy him therefore he will be our number one.
Speaking of goalkeepers, some nonce has edited Karl Darlow's wikipedia page. Painfully unfunny. Probably written by somebody who uses the phrase 'great bantz'. Or goes for a 'cheeky Nando's'. Or uses Snapchat. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Darlow
Rumour from the school playground is that Jaks wife is going to live in America.Have no idea what relevance this has to anything.
Whoever is number 1, we need to shift the other 2. We can't sustain 3 'first choice keepers' on good wages. Unless The Jak is on average money, and is McGregor out of contract? If so, it's fine.
As a matter of interest McGregor has done well as Cardiff, and Colin wants to sign him but fears his wage demands might be too high. After yesterday maybe those demands probably won't be so high now, so he could be sold to them.
