i would like to ask all blues fans on here do you think the gap in quality and class is getting bigger between divisions one and two because when we first gained our football league status we seemed to be able to comfortably deal with life in a higher division but these days we seem to struggle once we get to division one and seem to be made favourites to get relegated before a ball has been kicked or is it just the fact that we are getting worse

If you look at how Chesterfield and Wycombe have struggled you would think there is a big gap, but Stevenage and Bury don't seem to be having a problem. Looking at League Two only Swindon of the relegated clubs are having a good season; the other three are all near the bottom.
I do think the top 5 in League One are significantly better than the rest, which they should be, but the rest are only a bit stronger and more organised than League Two. I just think we overperformed a bit last season, and the players we signed in the close season didn't improve the side at all. Add to that no contribution from Ainsworth or Rendell this season and we have gone backwards, with the obvious exception of Stuart Beavon who has been a revelation.
