The game tonight

Right enough of this doom and gloom, tonight we get back on the pitch after a well earned break and look for 3 points from Fulham. 2011 has been a great start for us in the league and without "you know who" we have looked really solid. Midfield doing well and defensively we have been great. Had Tiote been fit we would have arguably taken those 4 extra points.

The up side is that Guthrie is back and did really well. Surely it's better that when someone is suspended/injured our squad players are full of confidence and slot right in? Guthrie can do it. He's a decent player and has had an unfair bit of stick. Injured and then thrown in when he played badly v the baggies.

Lampard though has SKY saying he needed 8 games to get back to his best and needed time. Guthrie though has to be a world beater first game back? Ludicrous. He will be playing again tonight and deservedly so.

The lads tonight will look for a big performance, they always do when they have a had a kick in the scrotum (Liverpool game after Hoots left)

Nolan has kept them together through thick and thin and there's an argument that he would be the biggest loss to that group of players and club. If not though, surely Barton would be? That lad has been one of the stand out performers of the season and would make any Prem team of the Year at this stage of the season.

Barton, Tiote, Colo, Enrique, Nolan. Those guys have been immense. When any of them are missing we struggle badly, when our number 9 has been missing we have still performed. (I love'd him but don't really wanna think about it too much!)

This season I have thoroughly enjoyed watching our team with or without AC and will continue to do so. Tonight the boys will do the biz and we can all move on.

I have changed my avatar from AC to my beloved Jonas and am attempting to grow Colo hair (should be ready in 2018)
