http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?t=37674&page=3 Some of our fans have been debating how much they really love the game compared to years ago... Do you share their feelings on football in general or even show the same apathy towards your own club? Is the money based nature of the game taking away some of the enjoyment and maybe the fact players seem to be very different personality wise compared to 10-20 years or is that just an accepted part of the modern game now. Or are you just most concerned about your own club doing well/being value for money.
In general I still love the game BUT I do not watch Premiership football as a rule (next season will be different for obvious reasons). I much prefer the Championship as a league where nearly anything can, and frequently does happen. Even though my team has won promotion in the 2nd auto spot I will be awake at 1.45am (here in Thailand) to watch all the play off games. That is how much I love Championship football
Still love the `Orns and that wont change , but England team , premiership etc forget it its souless sterile rubbish most of the time ,the amounts of money involved are obscene and have taken top level football away from the working man! Some countries have a smaller national debt than the likes of Man U etc! the organising bodies need to have a serious look at themselves! FIFA crooks! FA waste of space FL EPL`s bitch,! Sorry Rant over this sort of subject does touch a nerve!
