    Cant wait for

    GORDON
    OSHEA..BROWN..BRAMBLE..BARDSLEY
    LARSSON..GARDNER..VAUGHAN..SESS
    CAMPBELL..BEDNTNER

Or maybe Elmo. or Richardson, or Meyler, or Cattermole, or Turner, or Colback, or Wickham, or Ji.

How good will that squad be looking with choices all round.

Ten we add in a new striker in January and we can get excited.

Or am I being deluded again, should I cut down on the medication.

Looks very sweet to me Syd.
The only concern I'd have is Campbell.
For a young lad coming back from a very long lay off into probably the most pressurized position on the pitch. It won't be easy for him, Bruce will have to treat him with kid gloves for quite a while.

Months away at the very least, if ever....

Looks good, but a long long way for Campbell to...

    1.Get back to fitness.
2 Justify a place in the team.. But fingers crossed for him..

    I'd change your prescription.

Squad looks fantastic on paper but as we know, you never have a full squad. Newcastle seem to be virtually at full strength at last with HBA back, but I expect nothing less than an injury to a first teamer in the next couple of weeks.

I think this is Syd's point Chiek - even with injuries we have players to cover - and good, experienced players too (not unproven like HBA or Cabaye)

Hope Campbell can get back to full fitness - he was looking an awesome player when he first picked up his injury.

I would disagree with this, I don't think you have any experienced premier league strikers except bendtner, correct me if I'm wrong like.

Campbell wont be back, except for cameo roles, until beginning of next season imo. He will need time and a full pre-season to get back up to his best (if he can at all).

Other than that, the squad is looking really good except - just missing a striker or 2 which hopefully we will get in Jan.

Noyt sure I agree - watched a few of their games (televised ones) and never thought his passing was up to much. He played well at the weekend but against QPR I didn't even know he was playing until the 60th minute! Totally anonymous and uninvolved - all about opinions though
