    What does every one think of the front three we played today?

    ---------------Shelvey------------
    -Sterling-------------------Suarez-

    Shelvey has played as the false 9 a few times now. What does every one think of him in this role.

    Suarez played from the left. He made some good runs inside. In fact he made the runs that the other players need to be making when he plays as the false 9. But with out himself in the middle, the space was not opened up quite so well. He also cant do the great link up play with Sterling so easily.

    Sterling's role is the same as always. I think he is better on the right than the left.

    I can see the logic in bringing Shelvey in as he does score goals (in Europe at least), but when Suarez is on fire playing centrally, so why move him?

    Could this be a hint that Rodgers is thinking about a new striker playing in the middle and is testing Suarez out wide?

    I think so, we need another striker and Suarez can play on the right or left.

    Suarez could play well in any attacking position.

    Today was one of those days. We did nothing wrong except score and everything went right for them.

    As for the front 3. Have to agree that Suarez in the centre would have been better. Shelvey is an active midfielder and doesn't work as a striker. Sterling is a young kid, still learning and now needs a rest.

    I think Suso should have played LF. Suarez in the middle.

    Suso would at least have attempted to carry the ball into the box and just may have forced a penalty. I could not understand why we kept on crossing when a direct attack upon a crowded area could have proved far more fruitful.

    Everyone knows I'm not a fan of Shelvey, the way he threw his arms up when Suarez hit the side knetting, really pissed me off. Suarez is our best player, closely followed by Johnson.

    Sterling looks tired and needs a rest.

    I'd have played Suso as he can dribble.

    I'd send Shelvey out on loan in a swap with T Ince

    Our attack needs Enrique on the wing. He has great ability of driving into the box and already has a great relationship with Suarez.

    Sterling is young and lacks the final ball, however you can argue that most of our team lacks the final ball including Suarez on occasions.

    Shelvey is simply not ready.

    Or we could sign Benjamin Aguero:

    Dad = Sergio Aguero
    Godfather = Messi
    Granddad = Maradona

    If this lad doesn't score 100 goals in a calendar year, I will be very disappointed.
