The French Open is the next big slam and coming up fast, two weeks to go - pretty unbelievable tbh as it feels like winter here in the south west of England despite the sun! It seems an awful long time since the AO doesn't it?!

Anyway, here's the link to the OS where you will find all the latest info as it becomes news: http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/index.html

Does anyone have any predictions on who they think will win it? How far AM will get and so on? Please feel free to post your predictions here and also any thoughts you may have on proceedings before and also as they happen.

Do you think Djokovic will take this one or do you think his play has slumped a little? If not him then who? Here's to looking forward!

Hi lalala - long time no see!

I feel a fit Andy Murray would stand a chance this year, but I read somewhere that he pulled out of a tournament due to injury! Not sure what the injury was but if he's not 100% fit, he stands no chance!

    Take care lalala <bubbly

Hi Dave, I don't see you around so much these days either. I know cyp spends some of his time on twitter these days, guess you do too. I'm not a fan I have to say - I'm not big on celebs and it doesn't do it for me I prefer facebook.

Yes Murray pulled out of Madrid but that may have been a preventative measure to ensure he is fully fit for the French. He will have to improve if he is to win a slam, doesn't seem in top form just yet.

Ok, in the run up to the French Open, would anyone be brave enough to predict a winner each from the ladies and men??? If your prediction is out due to injury I will allow an alternative. The winners will get bragging rights and free drinks in the All British Club bar all night - on the night of the finals of course!

Britain's Andy Murray will resume his bid for a maiden Grand Slam title when he takes on Tatsuma Ito of Japan in the first round of the French Open.
