Is meant to take place on Thursday, will it be postponed again? I chose what I think are all the realistic possibilities.

Good choice of voting options, Lapras.

I voted "most definitely" as the obvious choice of outcome

It has been postponed for a further 7 days.

Apparently the Keith Harris bid had the players compromise agreements being paid in a quicker time so Birch has to look at it.

At this rate nothing will be sorted before Christmas!

I've said this on a another forum I'm a regular on. Surely if the FL have said go with the PST, Birch can look at Harris/Portpin's bid all he wants, but the FL have the final say?

Well, I know I didn't vote in time time, but I would have done if the correct option was available.

"Does a one-legged duck swim round in circles." was simply not there. Woopert might have liked that one, too.:)

Now there's apparently a "problem" with the PFA. What do we think the odds are that the "problem" is the Trust trying to weasel out of paying the full amount promised?

    Around about 100%, I'd say.

    Wrong!!!!

A clever little ploy by YKW. The Keith Harris bid has indicated how they would pay the debts, putting the Secured Creditors higher up the payment order. Remember that Chanrai has Andronokou on board, and he was the agent/advisor for that "tiresome" player Tal Ben Haim.

Chanrai will do anything to scupper the PST bid.

The problem with the PFA was that Harris and his bid had made the promise of paying former players off in two year when it would take four years to do that with the Trust's bid, and that the former players had fallen behind paying off loans needed to buy Fratton Park in the Trust's priorities. The PFA is seeking legal clarity on where their members stand in the priority of payments queue. They dont object to the Trust's takeover, and have in no way accused the Trust of trying to get out of paying their members the agreed amount due, they just want to know whether its legally accepted for payment of their members to fall behind payment of loans to buy the stadium and if not then they will push to change it for the benefit of their members.

    As said earlier, WRONG.

The PFA don't think that the PST won't pay, they just wanted to know when they get paid. The Harris/Chanrai bid puts them first in line to get paid, but the FL have been savvy to this. It seems finally they are knowleagable to Chanrai's poor record of paying other people what they are entitled.

And they need a week to tell them that, do they? All it should take is one email and ten minutes on the phone. If the Trust's bid is fully in place, they should know these things.

It's not PST that asked for the adjournment it's PKF the admins. PFA should have known they were not 1st in line since August when the payments to football creditors was sorted between them and the PST. Birch keeps on stalling because a take over that doesn't involve at court case and possible blackmail from Chanrai is easier on him.

Not much the PST can do about Chanrai chasing money he thinks he's entitled to.
