Hopefully we see none of that tonight. We want crunching tackles & a overly fussy ref to be flashing cards like its Christmas 1989. Dougie has already stirred them bluebirds up, but now we want the next level, get in their faces, frustrate them, test Kennys dodgy ankle & Peters maturity . By the time they visit us next week, lets hope they have to deal with some of the crippling problems we've encountered recently. The gloves are off, Cardiff are now the team to beat.
Howard the copper is the ref (do your own punchline). Hopefully it will be a bloodbath, with a Cardiff win to give them something else to concentrate on (after extra time).
You mean the Cup game?...thought Cardiff had a League game and we could fall to third tonight. Phew..need a valium.
No way Fran, need more time to adjust to second place, third can wait. I think we shall be better prepared for our next league game, a lot better.
We've got Cardiff at home coming up soon lads. We seem to beat them at home and lose away so I hope that's a good omen for you
They are a good team, but theres a few teams who look to be in better shape for the 2nd half of the season. The p/o's are going to be nightmare difficulty this year.
The difference between Saints and the other promotion chasers. The rest will happily get stuck in and give their opponents a good kicking to grind out a result. I'm not saying go out to hurt someone, but we don't put our foot in enough. We need to start doing it more last night for example our MF looked like we were scared to go for the ball.
