  3. aye he sounded like a queerhawk, had the dale winton look goin on aswell.

safe to say its celtic fans fault that the SPL is ****e, they caused a riot after we pumped them to win the league, then the polis pulled the plug on 6pm kick offs then sky said - SEE YA!

I am sure we had this conversation yesterday <laugh>

The Spl are back with Sky now so I dont see the problem. Also watching that programme yesterday took me back. 98' was the year that I started to watch football and it was a good year depite Rangers winning the league <laugh> France 98' did it for me and that is what made me a football fan. The 6 kick offs were good and it was good to relive that in last nights show

I liked the 6pm games as well MV. Only 2 of my mates in our street had Sky and they were both tims, so usually had to go round my uncles and watch it - must've been about 20 people packed into his wee living room the night we won it, his carpets and walls got ruined with champagne <ok>

Aye thats what we did where I come from. We would either go to other peoples houses and watch it or when the Old Firm match came round we would head down to the pub and watch it on the big screen and the place would be packed.

Alas, it is no longer like that and the pub no longer has the alure for the villagers any more. In fact the last time the pub was packed for a football match was back when Scotland beat France 1-0 over in France - Packed for the Hampden game aswell you could not get moving and find a seat - That was probably the last time there was a lot of people in the pub.
