    Well lads, returning back to my flat I noticed my bag felt damp...I opened it to discover a bottle of water had leaked all over the main compartment...I opened another pocket and discovered a puddle of water....Another pocket and another puddle...Then a wave of sickly fear swept over me, simultaneously slapping me in the face and kicking me in the preverbial ****...

    I opened the final pocket...And there it was, swimming around in an inch n a half of RiverRock Northern Irish water...My beautiful, beloved iPhone!!!

    Lads, you've been there for Tash and his BIG problem, you've helped send Stevie off to sleep...It's time for me to call upon you to cheer me up, I need stories of angst, tales of woe and stories that ultimately end in a MAJOR <doh>!!!FML!!!<doh>

    Turn it off and fill a big bowl with rice, submerge the iPhone in the rice and leave it for a couple of days.
    Trust me it works! It's what they tell you for laptops as well if you ring a maintenance hotline.

    Gave my passport a bath when drunk (seemed to be stuck together with vodka and orange) and then showed up at Chicago O'Hare airport with a passport/sponge as the paper expanded massively whilst it dried.

    British embassy came to my rescue.

    This year i do Media, Sport and Travel and Tourism and I'm predicted to be doing amazing but i think i'll be ok this year seemed easier than last
