Ok, the season finale is here! Let's start with the tables: please log in to view this image 2 horse race at the top, with El_Bando needing at least a podium finish to stand a chance of winning. Julius Caesar in pole position though. Paco Montoya still stands a chance of a top 3 finish, again with a podium needed to really stand a chance. please log in to view this image In the constructor's, it's been clear for a while that Lotus and Williams were the dominant teams, but mathematically it's still not over yet! Ferrari have 3rd sewn up, although even Force India have a mathematical chance of 4th place with some strong results, particularly when you consider the second element to this weekend's race... World Tour Special Ok, so below is published the complete list of results as I have it, and you'll notice that several people are yet to finish multiple races. From now until the end of this weekend's race, anyone yet to finish a previous race can go back and do so, and the points will be added to their total. please log in to view this image So for example, Roadrunner and Jonny Baws can still potentially pick up at least 12 points more. This weekend's race: It seems only fitting for this season to end the same time as the real one, so the season ends when the chequered flag falls, post "finish" to do so. Good luck!
Just to wrap this up for the season then: please log in to view this image As El_Bando puts it, JC was the Hamilton to his Massa and pips him right at the end, Roadrunner wrapped up third place too. BLS narrowly held off di Fredsta for 5th. Lotus comfortably win the constructors championship for yet another season! As I said before, apologies for this not always being the most prompt of championships, and for not always updating tables. Personally I'm surprised we managed to maintain interest from all the way back in March! (Even if the number of participants did dwindle a little). Roadrunner had offered to run it next season, but should his disappearance be permanent then I'll take the reins once again, unless anyone else fancies a crack. Last year we had several seasons of this over the winter, so if anyone wants to run one then go for it, if you want the spreadsheet I've used then I can provide that, no worries.
Oh, maybe actually. Perhaps I'm confusing championships, haven't Lotus taken every driver's championship before this one?
