That's a pretty fair assessment but I can't help but feel we might turn Man City over again.

I spent about 10 seconds thinking about the Norwich game, my heart said we'd finally beat them but my head said they are one of those teams that we just fall apart against.

You never know mate they may shock us. I don't think our friends on the Norwich board would begrudge us a win either.

Project, 4 wins and 2 draws is 14 points giving us a total of 54. My prediction from another thread is 56.

That's a tough run in. If we finish above 7th we will have been successful against some top teams. Worth a few quid if the odds are good. I fancy ML to be a real torment to these teams in the run in. We're going to see some tactical maneuverings we haven't seen yet.

OP - you really think Norwich can score 3 goals in one game???

If we do, then you need to look long and hard at your defence I reckon. We don't look capable of scoring in most recent games and despite our recent good record against the Swans I don't see us scoring that many but I would hope we would get at least a draw out of it.

We would not begrudge a Swans win but we might still need the points when we meet so would be hurting if we lost.

For our team Norwich are somewhat of an anomaly. Not only do we lose, but we get a thumping. I presume it is psychological and that the Norwich players get a lift and the Swans have doubt. Saying that we did finally manage to get a point off Everton so that might give the Swans players some hope and optimism but I might as well stick with my prediction giving what could be considered generous results against Arsenal and Spurs, losing to neither would be one hell of a feat so my Norwich prediction balances out the final points tally. Surely the Swans will not finish in the Top Six? If they held for draws against those two teams and managed to beat Norwich, then that would likely be a Top 6 finish given the games the other teams must also play. :)

What happened to the post way back when - the one where we all gave our predictions for points - I think mine was 53 - might stick with it!

Although a bit late, and I have a very unfair advantage, what are the chances of my 56 making it on to that list? :D

I am glad to say that my 48 point prediction should be easily passed. Its a tough run in and I think we will get 3 wins and 4 draws from the last 10 games sp predict a 53 point finish

Can't see you finishing 7th like some have said. Liverpool will continue to thrash the lesser teams and get beat by the top half teams whilst Mirallas should see us have a strong finish as he seems to be coming into form and injury free.

Agreed with shogs. 8th is where we will finish. 9th, over 50 points and a cup would have been more than anyone seriously fancied pre season, but I would be pissed if we get pipped by Brom now!

We've took points off the Blueshite, Arsenal, the Swans, Chelsea and City(all away and all 'top half teams')and took points off City and beat Swansea at home shogs.<whistle>

We've got 4 games left against 'top half teams', home to Spurs, Chelsea, and the Blueshite and 1 away to Fulham, so you reckon we'll get beat in those 4 games shogs?
