Just 12 days to go and wham bam thankyou for the past now for the future …. we have 5 signings and a updated website that has DUNDER added minutes after the announcement but no sign, of at 1032am on 23/7/2018 of them [newbies ]being added to the team sheet …………………… very poor ..... hopefully not how our season will unfurl... always late on the" ball" [ general description not the round thing!]. what are we hoping for? well for me a rebirth of this site after the comments and disruption of last season that saw compo's maligned and bad feeling from threads being interrupted … a solid season, as we seem to be working on the "5 pillars" plan to get an established base, within the fair play rules and a financial base that is alsmost self supporting. [ in this day and age a pretty hard thing to accomplish bearing in mind money going out of the game ] .. a point reiterated by Mr Neville in his speech ! I did read somewhere that 30% of monies generated go out of the game and not on players wages! my prediction of where we will finish will be in the thread predicting the championship final positions. I may run a compo this season but will not be either of last seasons.... as usual a join anytime one …[ it was amazing to see how certain peeps dragging along, suddenly had an inspired few weeks to rocket up the table, and some at the top missed out because they missed the odd week ] I have plan for those that miss out due to circumstances!!! 10 days to blast off and team sheet/photo's still using Lancer Scott shirts …..no sign of any newbies in the list and 10 numbers free between 1 and 30 for shirts …. does this mean still in the market? or might get rid of some more? or every newbie wants to be number 13 ……….lol [makes 11 free numbers if included ]. we have probably gained about £19m and spent out £6m how much was our last seasons wage bill? heard a chat going on last week said our gate income last season was £8m?
5 days to go and still the team sheet is LANCER SCOTT and the news from the media stops at 19th july almost 2 weeks ago are they ashamed of DUNDER? they do not want to have the shirts plastered over the remnants of what is left of last seasons squad !!! obviously don't have a very adept web master, anyone out there want a job???? £1000 per week ………… for an hour a day!
interesting that they choose today to reveal "squad numbers" 2 of last years squad and assuming out on loan MORREL and HINDS have lost their number .............. Squad is 26 but not yet updated on TEAMS on City site ............
