Best sports movie of all time? Certainly my favourite. Raging Bull was a classic too, and a special mention for Any Given Sunday, which I enjoyed even though I don't have the first clue about American football.

Not keen on sports films myself, they are either pish corny, or pish crap.
And tbh, they are very much a cliche market, which is probably why they are so corny.
Am i honestly the only person to think that the Rocky series was utter pish and not worthy of wasting my life away on.

I'm not keen on the Rocky series either. Very, very cheesy.
Thought Million Dollar Baby was a good film as well.

It's precisely because they're so **** that makes Rocky movies entertaining <ok>

Russian propaganda, falling in love with house robots etc, and "Only in America" - pure cheeeeese

I was just about to say the same!

Does Rollerball (James Caan version) count as a sports film?

Watched Warrior last night. Thought it was actually better than the Fighter.

Lords of Dogtown is one of my favourites but have to give a mention to these two.
