Welcome to The Fan's Forum Sponsor Club for 2014-15

As previous seasons we will be Sponsoring Bristol Rovers Players and Home Matches. Since January 2013 we have Sponsored 15 Rovers Players, 3 Rovers home games and 2 Youth Games and raised over £8,000.

The idea is simple:

Members pay £10 per season - All appear on our "Roll of Honour" (See post following this one) to acknowledge their generous contribution.

The aims of The FFS Club:

Try to Encourage Unity and Positivity
Raise funds for the football club we all love
Sponsor Players who would not normally attract a Sponsor
Sponsor home games, plus if possible some Youth Team games
Offer members reduced prices for Hospitality & Player Sponsorships they may otherwise not afford
Meet up with other like-minded Gasheads
Give away Prizes to members including Sponsored Match worn shirts & Hospitality Places
Possibility of special FFS Night events (to be confirmed)

You can make your payment via our PayPal Account - [email protected]

(if you have a PayPal Balance it is free, otherwise please pay the charges otherwise we will not receive the full amount)

You can pay Electronically direct into our FFS Bank account - Sort Code: 40-46-18 Acc. No. 32107813

You can pay cash by meeting one of our team at a game etc
Please put your real name or username in the information box when paying, so we know who has made a payment

The Minimum amount to become a member is £10, if you would like to give more of course feel free!

Update:

We today Sponsored Matt Taylor - In Memory of Ann-Marie Irene.

Ann-Marie was the teenage daughter of an OF member who sadly passed away suddenly last April. We raised some funds for the family for some Rovers gifts and had enough left over to Sponsor a player in her memory this season, so we've honored our promise and wish Ann-Maries family our very best wishes.

We are now up to 70 members for this season, which i think is a good start all things considered.

It also takes us past the £8,000 mark for funds raised since we began 20 months ago. UTG

Thank you for enquiring, we have a Bank account you can pay into online (see top post) or perhaps you could meet one of us at a home game, or even pop in the club shop, put £10 in an envelope with "Jon the Stripe - FFS" with your name on and they'll pass it on to me.

Ha ha, fair shout SMH, i just keep doing what i do, if the players gain even a little confidence from our sponsorship, well we've made a slight difference.

Tin hat on - good luck to your lot, for what it's worth i think you are definitely heading in the right direction and i hope (or pray actually) we'll be chasing your tails again one day, sooner rather than later.

 

Can you sponsor DC or is it just players?? Only asking. It would be interesting if DC can get sponsored. If you did sponsor him, that would give a bit of confidence to the man who all the stuff he has come out with, he must be hurting real bad. Currently we are stuck with him, so may as well get behind him and sponsoring him would be a good sign to him and maybe a confidence boost to him.

Yes we can Sponsor managers, but DC is already Sponsored both home and away, thanks for raising the point though.

I agree with confidence boosts and we will likely sponsor Ellis H for this exact reason. I heard him boo'ed at the coventry friendly which i thought was bang out of order an un-Gashead like.

I understand that and fair shout for doing that. I hope the things I heard about him is wrong because if it is correct then he dont deserve the sponsor, if that makes sense.

If Ellis misbehaves and leaves i have arranged immediate transfer of Sponsorship to another young player at no further cost to us.

IMO - Ellis deserves support as he was told he would have chance to prove himself, and personally i think on his day he is possibly the most creative player we have. time will tell, but this is win-win for us.
