Seems to me Christian that we can now add "backstabber" to sweet little Luis's CV. Would fit in nicely with cheat, simulator, racist and biter. We await with baited breath for the next addition

Bit rich for him to just blame Slippery G when he went missing in action in that game as well - like he did in most of the games v the top sides. He did well bullying Norwich though ;)

Nothing from the rat surprises me. However, I thought he had at least something for Stevie me who really looked after him when he was there. The RS fans defended him yet he despised them and made it clear he didn't get enough support and wanted to leave.

All non RS fans would want to blame the loss of the much wanted title on Stevie but for the rat to do it to him is a new low. <ok>

It just shows how despicable the rat is. Even though we all know Stevie me's slip cost Liverpool dear (much to my delight!), all the rat had to do was tell a lie to save Gerrard even more embarrassment.
But even though Suarez has lied in the past, he felt this time he had to be honest. Just proves what a jumped up lying cheating back stabbing rat he is. Glad he's gone to distant lands, the premiership is better without him.

Now all we need to do is wait for the arsonist Taglatelli to continue in the rats footsteps. Could be quiet amusing as the dippers try to protect him.

  7. Or you guys could read it for what it is; Suarez praising Gerrard's inner strength, determination and passion to be able to carry on despite clearly being distraught about the slip. Just a thought like...

To be fair, Stevie should be used to it by now with the catalogue of big errors he's had over the years, World Cup, League Cup final etc. ;)

He's just saying what everyone knows to be the truth and the way it's worded is a compliment as Gerrez says.

The way its worded smacks distinctively of a backhanded compliment to me.

Like someone saying "I really admire Titus Bramble. He has had a long career in the game, and never let his numerous slips, setbacks and general defensive nightmares affect his determination to succeed. If I was that bad at defending, I'd have become a plumber years ago"

I honestly don't think we'd be challenging even if Suarez had joined. Apart from anything else he'd have suffered a leg break by now..

It could well be lost in translation, negrito <ok>

It just seems like the language is a bit too much for a truly genuine display of sympathy. All that stuff about the "the expectation had built so much, the talk had been about him leading Liverpool, his club, to a first title in over 20 years" and "The captain, the former youth-teamer, the one-club man, a Scouser born and bred". Makes it sound a bit like Suarez was jealous of all the attention Gerrard was getting when he was contributing relatively little to the actual title challenge, other than helping to throw it away.

“We knew that if they wanted to win the league – and people forget that they still had a chance to do that – they would have to play to win. For them to try to waste time when the draw was no good to them was something that I didn’t understand.”

"Mourinho knew: if you waste time, if you break it up from the very start, they’re going to get frustrated, they’re going to play a bit more crazily, they’ll do anything. They pulled us out of our normal routine
.” Errrrrrrm haven't you just answered your own point?

And this is why Suarez is a thick deluded idiot who lives on mars. And why Mourinho is a winner.

Also think it's a bit rich him saying he'd given up playing football if he'd slipped like that, after ALL the s**t he's caused and the teams he's let down.

He may be a great footballer but he really is one odious son of a bitch.

You're forgetting all the lucky, flukey penalties he scored. <ok>
