I've been on Holiday a couple of weeks with the missus and kids to Dominican Republic and myself and my son wore our new Home shirts with pride on the first day. (Hence the reason for my absence from this board) As we were walking around trying to find a decent restaurant, a family came up to me and asked for a picture with us. Understandably, I was quite reluctant, however, when he explained that their family were all huge Hull City fans, I was gobsmacked. To do the Foreign Tigers fan a favor, he took a photo with his and my family's together. Two days till we were due to go home, we were in a Club and I spotted another man wearing the 2009/2010 Home shirt. There are a hell of a lot more Countries starting to follow us than I expected!
If we could get Tiger Beer to sponsor us we would sell hundreds of shirts to the far East have pick up a following
My mam and dad recently went on their jollys to Menorca, and reckoned that there was a fella on the glass bottomed boat with one of the IBM sponsored shirts on. So there you are. I was more interested in finding out what they'd got me from the duty free...
I wore my shirt in Jamaica in 2002 & a lot of people were knowing it form us having Theo & Goodison around that time, went back last year wearing my Hull City cap & the same thing, people still recognise it.
I was gardening in my dark blue and purple (gold trim) IBC away shirt yesterday. I really aught to treat it with more respect.
