Just been reading the Fail's double page spread on the season's run in and the push for the play offs. Suprised they've included Portsmouth (13th) in the teams chasing the top 6, goes to show how tight the league is i suppose. It was actually a decent read and agreed with most of the points they made for once! Showed were all the potential twists and turns could happen and each teams overall credentials to lay claim for a play off spot. Anyway, they had DQPR to win the league, Swansea to finish 2nd and Cardiff, Norwich, TWS and Burnley to finish in the play offs, just wondered what everyone's predictions were? I'd agree with the Fail's top 2 and the same play off teams with a Norwich V Cardiff final, with Norwich winning it. Heart would like City to finish in the top 6, head says no unfortunately.

Decent article, agree with predictions for the top 6. Pompey only 6 points off the play-offs so not too much of a shock.

Two wins from the next three will put us right in it. If we can take it to the last game of the season at Bristol, I'll be happy. Despite this, I still don't expect us to finish in the top six :undecided:

If you agreed with most of it, were you satisfied that you read something that you agreed with? What were you expecting when you read it? What was the value as a news article or do you think that they just wanted to fill two pages with waffle that everyone agrees with? After all, its a 'news' paper! Or maybe it is just a good read!!!!!!!

Call me cynical if you want, but the Fail is part of a national group of papers. If the piece seems to have been well written do you think it might have been a fairly generic feature written elsewhere and rolled out into all the sister papers with slight tweaks (if there was more about us than the other teams).

Probably, one swallow doesn't make a summer and still not a fan of the fail by any means. Was just a nice change to read a decent article tbh! Yeah, i probs agreed with it which helped with my enjoyment of reading it but having read similar articles on promotion/relegation on the past from them, they've being ****e in comparison to say the BBC so was a nice change to read a decent sports article from the local rag. However, i'm expecting the same crap from Swanny later today in his pre match article, but, hope springs eternal. Agree with your point Ricardo, they had views on our play off rivals supplied by their local sports reporters, which to be fair was needed to get a decent view on everyone else's play off chances rather than our lot guessing. However, would be interested to see if said article had appeared in the local rags in Leeds, Nottingham, Norwich etc, in which case the fail can't take as much or if any credit i originally gave them for the article.
