It seems the FA won't budge on the timing of the FA cup semi final v the spuds.
If (a big if) we beat Benfica tonight, Chelsea Football Club should tell the FA to **** off & field the youngsters in the FA cup semi. I love the FA cup but what those ****ers at the FA are doing is wrong. Once again, they offer no help to an English side in Europe so we should show the same courtesy they're showing us & stick two fingers up at them.

How much say do the FA have? It seems more ITV wanting to maximise ratings.

    There is a saying...

"Don't cut your nose to spite your face".

Our chances of winning the FA Cup are far greater than winning the CL.

When all is said and done the FA don't care what we do so long as they are making money.

Everton, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea should all have sat down and united against the FA against the ridiculous kick off times which have adversly affected the supporters of all 4 clubs, that should be the main concern, when all things are said and done these things happen. United had to play something like 4 games in 9 or 10 days a while back, it's the downside to being in so man competitions. The biggest disgrace for me is how some teams like us, Fulham, Spurs etc only get 1 day rest yet some clubs find themselves with 2 or 3. Again Sky dictating the fixtures.

I remember Spurs playing Thursday night and then 12:45 Saturday against Man Utd one time. They don't care whether it's fair or not.

F.A. or ****ing Arseholes as they are better known don't give a **** for anybody south of Watford. You would think they would be bending over backwards to give a team playing in their flagship league the best possible chance of obtaining a champions league final by giving them the most preparation time but no. They are only interested in selling off the F.A.Cup semi for the highest bidder. I hope they all die in pain.

So true and it's always been like that, if it were United or Liverpool in our position they would have been flexible and allowed it.

In 97 they extended the season (after United requested) in order to ease their congested fixture list. It goes back about a century when they wouldn't allow Southern clubs to join the Football League. All the board members in the FA are chairman of Man Utd, Bolton, Man City and Yorkshire clubs. Dirty Corrupt Northern bastards.

Who cares if it's poor old Chelsea or poor old Tottenham. When it's Liverpool or United or one of their precious northern clubs then they'll take note.

The requirements of TV are far more important to the FA than to the clubs! So as far as they are concerned its tough titty CFC!

I'd have thought the FA would've wanted one of their own to do well in the CL.

I must say i do think the FA should be more accomodating regarding the FA Cup semi, although we joke, we want you to field your strongest side and not play against a team waiting to play Barcelona, I also think 6pm Kick off is crazy. I for one will be in the pub from 12 until kick off im sure many other will as well, could get naughty!!!!

If I'm there from 12, I'll be asleep by 6 and then miss the whole thing. Prevents a lot of anxiety I guess. Just wake up to the good or bad news.

It's obvious it will. Apart from Milwall v West Ham, I can't think of a London Derby with such hatred amongst the fans. Silly kick off time.
