Absolutley ridiculous! The FA had the cheek to ask QPR to clap them onto the pitch for reaching the CL final! My dad was so angry he called QPR to see if this was true - and left a message for Ian Taylor (media guy) Thankfully he called back to say the FA did ask us to, but we refused! Too bloody right!
Judo, this has got to be a wind up? Surely the FA aren't that stupid................what am I saying, of course it's true!!!
It's ****ing ridiculous, they wanted no handshake but a guard of honour? yeah, that wouldn't incite anything
Both my two glove puppets Samuel and Tyson think we should be playing a 6221 formation but I disagree Both have agreed not to clap Chelsea Sunday as it will look stupid when we have defeated the Champions League finalists at home.
Not a wind up im afraid - my dad spoke to Ian Taylor. Also, Taylor has put on his twitter account that we refused.
A fitting response would be for all our players to line up some "cheek" for the FA and Chelsea - all 22!
I guess if it was Scudamore it came from the Premier League, not the FA, either way it's a ridiculous request. How far removed from fans can the people that run our beloved sport be?
I f we were forced to do it, Id have got our players to turn our backs on them, that would have probably wound them up so much they might have got a red card or 2.
I seriously thought this was a joke when I heard So they scrap the handshake but then expect you to applaud the same players onto the pitch anyway?
So did I, but the person who posted it was the one who Warnock had a go at for leaking team info. It just shows how clueless the FA and PL are. Firstly the handshake thing and secondly, they havent actually won anything. Its totally insane so it has to be true.
Don't get me wrong beating Barca is a great achievement but it means diddly squat if we lose the final. And what does European competition have to do with it anyway? The FA have done enough to kill off the domestic cups to promote that competition as it is. Do we have a guard of honour for FA Cup winners/finalists or Carling Cup winners/finalists? The FA are so out of touch its unreal, on top of the JT/Anton saga it's well known QPR don't like Chelsea as it is, not to mention it's a crucial game for QPR to beat the drop, it's hardly a pre-season friendly. Sheer madness. Shocked but not all surprised by this. Next they'll be asking Chelsea or Liverpool to do a guard of honour for the winner of the FA Cup
