They are so consistent at being inconsistent it’s untrue , Sunderland ladies have now been denied a well earned promotion after romping away at the top of their league , they cannot be promoted because the FA have said it is not having a club relegated from the second tier though the club at the top Aston Villa are being Promoted . Where is the justice and where is the logic , surely one league can’t or shouldn’t be treated differently or is it because it’s Sunderland the team that produced half of England’s squad in the last World Cup . I realise that we have a very unusual event taking place -Covid19 meaning things came to an abrupt halt but that was three months ago ,The Premier League is almost back , The Championship will follow , EFL1 will likely fall by the wayside because clubs don’t want to play , The German Leagues 1 2 3 are already underway so if the Germans third tier are back why is OUR league still dithering , if the clubs don’t want to play they should forfeit the game same as normal procedure . Its likely that Wycombe will vote to curtail the season and will then go on to take part in the play offs which is farcical , if they vote to curtail the season they should NOT be allowed to take part in the play offs . As you can tell I have little or no faith in our National games Leadership , now I expect the unexpected. Their are countless other teams affected by this lack of understanding of how it effects teams that have worked hard to achieve promotion success and then have it snatched away .
Ive said for years on here that senior management that run Football in this country have failed miserably to come up to muster on many fronts. As for our ladies being denied promotion is anybody really surprised that the FA and their cohorts have taken another derogitory decision against our club. Ive said on other threads that were in the middle of what should be the close season and they are still dithering about what to do with our league. Its totally unacceptable but under this leadership its totally believable.
