    Bad news for the fanboys.

One of the players that owes most to ML is happy with things.

Would be great if GM could sort his defensive weakness out and he signed for us in the summer.

leopards don't change their spots , you can't coach commitment to tackle , if his mental attitude is such then we have to accept it's not in him to put his foot in .

I guess there'd be a different result from before and after the Everton game as well. We all know how fickle these things are - win a few all is good, lose a few and you're ****e.

Agreed Stereo, if Monk was to lose his next 3 or 4 games, the fans who are happy with his appointment would soon start to sway over the other side of the coin and start calling for heads to roll.

De Guzman is a loaned player , speaking in Febuary . What exactly did you think he would say.

I'm happy with Monks appointment for the time being so that the club can find the right man for the job.

Its not like he is going to slate the club for a poor decision considering he is only on loan and nobody is beating down the door sfor him. In fact what also tells a story is that his last 2 moves were down to ML coming in for him when things weren't going well for him.
Laudrup has been a great part of my career, he brought me to Mallorca at a point when I did not have a team and then he brought me here to Swansea when things were not going well at Villarreal.

I am sure if ML had left us for another club he wouldnt have said a word just to keep his options open. Or maybe I am being too cynical.

Guzman leaving is not really a problem. It's what happens with Chico, Hernandez, Canas, Poz and especially Michu, that worries me.

They are all under contract, so unless club valuations are met, they'll be staying.

Thats 5 players who Laudrup would take ?, possible but unlikely imo , what value would you put on each individual player ? and considering this is the UK and not Spain where the economic footballing climate is much better than I would say their value has increased significantly .it has to depend on a/ Laudrup continues coaching . b/ where he ends up if he does come back for any of them .

Loyalty runs through Laudrups veins . After a great last season , doors opened for Laudrup much like Martinez and Rodgers. He made promises to players and fans , that he kept , more than I can say for the other two .I certainly don't blame Martinez and Rodgers for taking there chance against there word , but it does make me respect Laudrup more than both. How do you think a guy like De Guzman really feels about what Laudrup did for him . Or how Routledge feels for how Laudrup turned his whole career around when no one else could . Or how Davies feels about Laudrup sticking with him when Taylor went down . Laudrup was loyal to a lot of players, they may not say much , but I guarantee they don't like the way things happened . Summer is a long way off and I hope I'm wrong but I suspect an"exodus " is coming at seasons end , pretty hard for it to come in Febuary folks .

Not sure about that roofjack. Players can be as fickle as fans...in fact a sh1t load more so, and if GM keeps up the feel-good factor on and off the pitch and we finish the season strongly, I think the players will be more than happy to give him another year. As others have said it will depend on what ML does next and if he's got the budget to tempt some of our boys away.

Lets be frank so long as players are getting picked and in the Premier League they couldnt give a **** who the manager is. Unless Barca or Real Madrid come knocking for ML no player will be following him out of the Premier League!!

Who says the players wanting out will be going to Laudrup , some won't be running to Laudrup , they will be running away from Huw .

"Fanboys" - Keep seeing this term. Any need for snide name calling? Because that's what this is. If you agree with Laudrup's dismissal that is very much your prerogative but there's no call to snipe at those who don't with childish remarks like that.

I suppose the people who aren't happy with Monk will be calling his supporters Monkeys next. Grow up ffs!
