I'm not sure about everyone else but due to the first half of the season I always struggled to get myslef motivated to see the games. I'm a season ticket holder and live in London, both the cost of the train and the length of the journey to see dull and negative football was off putting and I felt like Taylor took some spirt out of the team. Many times I just felt like the players didn't care. Obviously I still came and stood by my team. However yesterday was the first time this season I have been excited to go and see The Gills. It's a shame it's taken this long to feel that way. However the football we are playing is brilliant, Marquis after being written off, has come up trumps and proving the doubters wrong. Ehmer and Egan are becoming a very good partnership, Dack has found decent form and Gailbraith gets better and better with each game. Oh how a few months can change a team! I was wondering if anyone else if feeling a lot more positive about The Gills? I myself can't wait until Saturday!
Positive yes.....getting better .....yes. Giving goals away after 90 minutes does get a tad annoying when at one stage today we were one point of the play off places. Takes the edge off the new found enjoyment.....
Can`t do much about the ref giving such a terrible penalty decision, just seen it on you tube, what a joke! The positivity and enjoyment since the gang of 4 and now Justin have taken over and the improvement in performances and results has been massive. Long may it continue. Really looking forward to next Saturday.
