....... I'll start. Juan Cala will already miss the Newcastle game and could now miss the last game against Chelsea as well "Cala was shown a red card by referee Phil Dowd for pulling back Wickham as the Sunderland striker looked to get clear on goal. The centre-back is then alleged to have been involved in an incident as he went down the tunnel at the Stadium of Light. Having already been set to serve a suspension for Saturday's Premier League match at Newcastle, should the charge be proven, then Cala would also miss the final game of the season, at home to Chelsea." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27212448
Talk around the camp fire is that Bayern Munich will be scouting Remy against Cardiff this weekend so he'll be trying for a change. Even funnier is that none of the rumoured £15 million fee will go to the Mags
Chelsea's defeat last night means they have all to play for in the next two games against Norwich and Cardiff, with no CL final distractions.
Aren't their fans planning to walk out after 60 minutes no matter what in protest against 'the regime' (that saved their club and gave them unforeseen European football)? I understand their frustrations at having Pardew in charge, he's by far the worst manager in the entire football league, Felix McGath looks like a Fergie/Trappatoni/Mourinho hybrid by comparison. What I don't understand is that they are going to walk out in frustration after paying full whack to get in, hahaha.
They've just launched next seasons away strip today. Its another beaut, a lovely shade of grey (matches their seats) they are trying to pass it off as silver. Dont undertand the planned walk out on 60 mins. Why not support the team for 90 mins then protest?
They're a bit daft up there though aren't they with their, as terry said "I'm going to line the owners pocket then walk out on 60 minutes to protest" - If you want to protest, don't go to the game or do it afterwards! Makes no sense at all
Ashley is a money man. He will have his ticket money so what does he care? If they actually had a decent 'protest' they might actually achieve something. But until then, as they say, warm glow.
The significance of 60 (mins) is that it's the number of games they expect to play before they win again.
Man Utd plan to field the strongest side against us http://soccerisma.com/2014/05/stron...united-xi-vs-sunderland-rvp-mata-rooney-start The stronger the better I reckon -when we beat these fookers away (at worse a draw) ...then the remaining two games will be a walk in the park
If they are walking out after 60 mins it will feel just like a derby game to them - hope no horses get injured
Get your cash out! Seriously, we rarely trounce you, you always put in a good shift against us and Brown & O'Shea know the United mentality, so I reckon you might get lucky and only get beat by 4 Haha No, no really seriously, with nothing to play for I'm only off to watch a good game, if we win, all the better for me, if we lose, you've cheated. This'd be much more appropriate to have this banter on the matchday thread...Bri.
Newcastle will stage a walkout on the 60 minute mark after paying their money to get in. Yet again they show themselves as the most unintelligent fan base in the country. This raises my spirits further which always helps.
