Almost upon us once more when washed up celebrities and unfunny comedians poison the screen for a whole evening.

I always make a point of not watching this as the hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.

Hangers on desperately trying to revive their flagging careers by imploring us to part with our money whilst they swan off somewhere at the tax payers expense showing how meek and humble and condescending they all are to those in trouble.

    **** 'em. **** 'em all.

I'll tune in if I see them coughing up the dosh live on stage.

And if they promise to execute Lenny Henry live (or not) on stage I'd imagine they would get probably £100 per household from everyone in Britain.

I'm happy to put money in the collecting tins but even the threat of having my testicles removed with rusty shears would not make me tune in to watch a second of it.
