Georgia look much better than England going forward. The play for most teams is so much faster. We just piss about with the ball at the back like possession is the way of the world. Southgimp even said we dominated the game. We didn’t. They let us have the ball while we played pointless sideways and backwards passes.
Was Trippier ok? Haven't watched the games. Fans screaming for palmer and gordon to get a chance. Hope Gordon remains benched for our sake
Trippier has been anonymous at best, pointless at worst. Hes out of position, in dreadful form and getting divorced. Shouldn’t even be there let alone in the team, Burn, Hall, Henry, Chilwell, Colwill, all much better options. England can win this tournament with Shaw at left back, Gordon left wing, Palmer right wing, Bellingham deep alongside Rice and Foden in the hole.
Think Trippier has done OK given that he's hardly had anyone in front of him to pass to, given Foden's need to go wandering. Put a few decent crosses in during the last game especially, but obviously needs to check back and hit an inswinger with his right foot
Gordon must be thinking he’s wasting his time. There are rumours that Saka is going to play on the left and Palmer on the right.
Gordon, with his name, could possibly play for Scotland. At least that might cheer Hamish up. Although, on second thoughts, don’t think Gordon is that desperate yet.
If - like me - you've spent this week wondering if Scotland's exit would have been better/sadder/funnier with the great Barry Davies on commentary, here's your answer (with a brief appearance from your friend and mine, the greatest coach in Premier League history):
Won't have mattered.. Southgate isn't going to start him in the knockout rounds off the back of 4 minutes....he is going to use Palmer though. If Gordon signs for a big club he'll play for England... it's very simple.
Newcastle aren't a big club...only the people in Newcastle think that. I'll take pelters for it, but it's true what I'm saying.... Newcastle haven't won anything since 1969 and are essentially the Derek Chisora of the Premier league. We're the pretenders now.
Hopefully yes.. Newcastle was a big club once upon and time, but other clubs kept winning things and outgrew Newcastle dramatically. Newcastle has potential.
You’ll take pelters because it’s not true. We played in the Champions League last season. And you’re trying to say we aren’t a big Club. We have the richest owners in the World and you’re trying to say we aren’t a big Club. I could go on but all you need to do is wake up and smell the coffee. Or stop trying to WUM at every opportunity. Whichever is the easiest.
