Next time, you should try what we used to do at work. Put all the team sin to individual sealed envelopes and then "sell" the envelopes. Get people to write their name on the envelope without opening them and then lock them away. We'd then come into work on the Monday after a final and hand out the envelopes for people to open.
Fair, but you miss the excitement of supporting a side. Why not just draw them from a hat.

We thought of doing this but most wanted to stick to the usual format.

Because it means you have something to look forward to after Englands dismal display the tournament has finished. It also takes away that "**** we've drawn England" feeling.

It also means that if you've drawn Outer *****lia, you don't know that your betting interest in the tournament is over early *

*assuming Outer *****lia don't draw England.

Such a contrast from England. Wales are playing with a surety and confidence in knowing what their jobs are without the ball and what they can do when they have the ball. The are playing to a system and plan and they have one system when they are under pressure and one when they are in the ascendency. They are playing like a real team. And Belgium aren't playing badly themselves either. Just that Wales are playing that excellently. Will Belgian heads go down.? It's entirely possible.

That's fun.
