Surely if these riots were happening in any other Country other than England and if that Country were due to stage the Olympic Games within 12 months the English Media would be demanding that either no British Athletes attend the games or else the games be moved. I think, because of the riots and also the risk of terrorist attack, Britain been probably most at risk because Internationally it is one of the most unpopular Countries in the world, these games will have to be moved. Tony Blair got these games to Britain allegedly illegally in the first place. He openly canvassed and made promises that were greater than any to secure "The World Cup." These games should be either given to France, the rightful winners or if France not prepared given to China the last hosts. Tory cut backs mean that lots of people, even more next year will feel left behind by society and will always be a risk. The reduced police forces will be over stretched.
I thought exactly the same thing when it started in London. Daily Mail would all over it if it was elsewhere
We already discussed this and the general concensus is the olympics are boring and generally **** so no one gives a **** if it gets moved ps, apart from the beach volleyball....we must keep the beach volleyball
