This may be a thread done to death, or not I don't know.

I just thought It'd be interesting to find out which players you all expect or want gone before next season.

The players in Bold are those who definitely should be looking for new clubs next season those who aren't I'm unsure about.

Tim Krul - Allegedly keen to leave
Rob Elliot - Not a viable option for a good team
Ryan Taylor - Tavernier & Sterry coming through nicely
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa - Doesn't seem happy in England
Steven Taylor - Questions about his quality and mentality
Fabriccio Coloccini - Never keep a player who wants out
David Santon - Can't defend too well and average going forward
Massaido Haidara - Struggling to impress
Dan Gosling - Out of contract
Yohan Gouffran - Hasn't quite looked the part
Hatem Ben Arfa - Looks as if he's buying his contract out
Gabriel Obertan - Not good enough
Sylvain Marveaux - Hasn't played more than a handful since he signed
Romain Amilfitano - Probably hasn't impressed in Ligue 2
Jonas Gutierrez - Passed his best
Shola Ameobi - Out of contract
Papiss Cisse - flash in the pan

That's 12 players there looking for a new club and a possible 5 more to follow

Do we all agree or is there players here you believe should stay for next season?

I think we should add Sammy to that list.
He's Sholas brother and already looking a bit lazy.

    I forgot about Sammy <laugh>

I'd loan him out to a Championship team and see what he can do for a season in the Championship.

Although it looks difficult for Sammy with Shane Ferguson coming back and Rolando Aarons coming through.

Serie A sides are allegedly willing to pay upwards of 9 million which I consider decent.

We should never of sold Fraser.

Basically, we need a new squad.
Reality is that they cant all go.

I would add Tavernier and Ferguson to the list.
Tavernier would have been in the first team squad by now if he was good enough. He'll be 23 yo later this year.
Ferguson has barely played for a team in the relegation spot.
Both squad fillers and nothing else.

£9m is good money for a keeper, so if a bid is received for that amount you can see it being accepted.
We probably shouldn't have sold Forster, but, he wanted first team football and wasn't going to get it here, and more than likely would've walked on a free if we'd held onto him

Irrespective if Krul goes or not, we need better back-up than Elliot.

Irrespective of who goes, we need a hell of a lot in... I'm talking about 4 high quality players before we even start on replacing who leaves. If we don't do exactly that, then I'm afraid I probs won't be interested in what happens next year, at all.
