http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32784375 So that means only Chelsea have won the Prem by fair means... ever! It also means City can compete with their noisy neighbours for Bale Pogba etc
FFP was never going to work, because it placed a restriction, not only on free trade, but also on the free movement of labour across the industry. Platini is probably concerned that FIFA will take a massive kicking in the European courts and be forced to bin its restrictions and pay huge costs, and is looking to mitigate those concerns by jumping before he is pushed.
This is excellent news! It means that Spurs will be able to buy back Bale! I always said that he never really wanted to leave the club, and it seems that I may have been proved right.
Nice dream HIAG ! You have already spunked away the proceeds from the sale of Bale on utter dross so unless you sell Lloris and Kane and Eriksen for £100m then you won't be in the market for when he returns to PL !! And before you say it I doubt Arsenal will cough up for him either sadly as he is a gooner at heart
Can Arsenal afford him? And if they can, will Wenger/your board want to pay that kind of money on one player? It will be a first for you, if you do. Spurs, as you say, don't mind spunking that kind of money.
It could mean city can compete with their noisy neighbours in the transfer market again, although the new Sky deal would also have eroded your financial advantage in the market. Good thing is, while you had more money than anyone else that you made the most of it
Its being done to help smaller sides in Europe compete with PL due to our TV deal. Probably a good time to point out to Mr qpr that, FFP under PL rules still applies. Also not sure if you remember 2004 - 2013 but unlimited spending didnt real help Chelsea too much. I am sure you can remember which well run, self made club dominated the game even in the face of game destroying owners. That probably wont help you sleep at night though.
http://www.football-italia.net/66730/platini-‘ffp-will-stay’ Ouch. More painful reality for badly run clubs who either live outside their means or survive only by being a selling club due to a lack of interest from the outside world.
Emphasis on 'poor'. Maybe they can buy and sell of each other? The footballing equivalent to the Chuckle Brothers.
Shame, we'll just have to do it the hard way which we've been doing for the past 2 years and still winning trophies.
i'll settle for both. Think you need to look at yourselves first regarding boring others to death. At least theres an end to our means, whats your excuse? Inside job to devalue your club?
Like selling your best* players**. *Mata was one of your best, I agree not the best but one of. ** Side show bob was a great sale. Now how will you fund big player signings
