So thats Kenny and Susan Boyle that both won more honours than B/L/C

<yikes>

Bobby Charlton won a World Cup medal so he gets kudos over the other two "legends"

And a Ballon D'Or apiece of course. How many of those did Dalglish win again? Wasn't his greatest individual award being number one in the list of "players who shook the Kop"? <laugh>

As far as I'm aware Djimi Traore never won a Premier League medal.

Oh **** I forgot - only European Cups count now with Liverpool fans.

Ah,So winning multiple honours only counts today(as in Ryan Giggs),B/L/C never played football individually they played as part of a team.

Kenny won more honours than all three(although as i said Sir Bobby's world cup medal was a superb achievement)put together.

Kenny was a legend and does'nt deserve the stick he gets from people that never saw him play.

He was a great player, but based on what I've seen from past footage and heard (and the individual awards and recognition given to the three players) I don't think he was better than Best, Charlton or Law. Probably on a par with Law, and definitely more consistent and professional than Best if not as talented. But Charlton was the best out of the four imo.

Dalglish has won more honours than the other three because he played in the clearly dominant team at the time. That's worthy of respect, but as has been pointed out it does not necessarily mean you are the best player. After all, Phil Neal won more honours than Dalglish but wasn't a better player. And Ryan Giggs is the most decorated footballer in British history - it doesn't make him the best.

I never said Kenny was the best,i pointed out that he was a legend.

Best,Law and Charlton were undoubtably great players but so was Dalglish and when he gets belittled as part of a pisstake on KPR it kinda make the person making the comment as good/bad/logical as KPR.

Fair enough. Although I don't think comparing him to Susan Boyle is a belittling, it's more of a pisstake imo. Same as people comparing Rooney to Shrek - you can take the piss out of how someone looks / sounds / behaves whilst still respecting their talent.

Exactly. I call Skylarker a **** but I still respect is talent at being a ****.

Ok,But accusing KPR of something and going down the same road is at best ironic and at the worst hypocritical.

Theres some bad **** said on this forum as a whole entity mainly in GC and nothing's said, there was a post today on a matchthread in which the poster said he hoped all the home supporters die of cancer.

Where do you draw a line in the sand Swarbs?

I don't think KPR's comment that "Kenny was Best, Law and Charlton rolled into one" is at all out of line or bad ****. It was just highlighted as a laughably uninformed post that shows his massive pro Liverpool and anti Man Utd bias. So Constcrepe just responded with a similar bit of banter poking fun at him for it. That, to me, is just banter and I have no problem with KPR or anyone else expressing genuine and inoffensive opinions, even if they are completely wrong to any reasonable person. But if they express those opinions on a debate and banter forum they have to be willing to be mocked mercilessly for it <ok>

Drawing the line is always a difficult thing, but I think most people can be reasonable about these things. You cross the line when you start joking about serious things like death, disease and so on. Fortunately, when that happens most people tend to walk away in disgust, or ask the mods to sort it out, rather than responding in kind. Much like when KPR was banned for talking about Best dying due to alcoholism - as far as I remember no Utd fans responded with anything along similar lines about Liverpool, and most Liverpool fans were just as disgusted.
