    Yeah, everyone will still call it the League Cup.

    I still call it the Carling Cup even though they haven't sponsored it for years.

    How the mighty have fallen. Back in the day Coca Cola and Carling I guess were comparatively big name sponsors. Did the decline in decent sponsorship coincide with when the FA Cup became sponsored?

    I call it the Coca-Cola cup, because it was the name when we first won it. Rewatching the videos as a kid over and over again has had it engrained onto my psyche.

    I've come over with an all over dirty feeling. This is how certain other posters must feel all the time ... dirty.


    No doubt one of those posters will suggest they're known as the EFL nowadays but they can lick my wrinkly old love sack. It'll always be the FL to me along with the League Cup, FA Cup, European Cup, UEFA Cup, Divs 1, 2, 3 & 4, & the Charity Shield. Cup Winners Cup, RIP.
