    Good Evening / Morning Everyone

Leeds dropped out of the automatic promotion places at the weekend after losing 1-0 at home against the Blades.

Leeds dominated large parts of the game, 70% possession and 17 shots at goal prove this; however over 90 minutes Leeds could not muster a single shot on target (Though Roberts hit the woodwork in the second half).

When you look at the performance of the Blades forward line of ex Leeds flop Billy Sharp (23 goals), free transfer David McGoldrick (12 goals), and one season sensation Scott Hogan (3 goals) - would any of these players have got any game time, let alone a place on the bench at the start of the season had they been on Leeds books?

Let's add Ollie Norwood to that equation and let me ask, how much grief would the club have received if they had been even linked with any of these players?

Bearing this in mind should our 8m forward line of Bamford and Roberts have done better?

You'll recall at the post match presser after the West Brom game, Bielsa commented that he had to keep Bamford on the pitch (for an extra 50 minutes) as he didn't have any other options?

Was Bamford MATCH FIT to play?

If only we had a talented U23 forward that was scoring goals for fun?

    Hang on a minute??? <yikes>

Before you ask, I was talking about Brown, and 'apparently' he was ill on Saturday.... Hhhmmmmmm...

Cooper had a game to forget at the weekend, but considering how well he has played this season, I'm sure he can be forgiven - unless of course you're one of the social media boo boys!

Jansson had an interesting game. He got injured (and has subsequently withdrawn from the Swedish squad for next weeks Internationals). Playing with restrictive movement, Bielsa had to shuffle the pack and the Swede ended up playing as the lone striker, missing a guilt edged opportunity to draw level.

When Casilla was sent off, and Jansson played the last few minutes between the sticks.

Jansson picked up a lot of stick on social media for play acting. Even former gaffer Simon Grayson commentating for TalkSport said “If he rolls around any more, he will injure his other knee".

Where ever there is trouble, Jansson is not far away!

    Fair comment or not?

    Good morning Matt & all

    We were the better team

We weren't clinical enough, nothing new there !

If that's the way the blunts play to gain promotion, their stay in the premiership will be short-lived

Billy blunt couldn't hit a barn door when he was at ER

Sharp, McGoldrick & Norwood are more effective than some of our signings Douglas, Baker, Brown & Harrison

Both Bamford & Roberts have suffered long term injuries so difficult to judge them this season, we do tend to sign crocks

Still think Brown may not play a full 90 minutes for Leeds, if he does manage a few games & makes no impact then he would be yet another pointless signing

Cooper has had a magnificent season, he'll still be hurting this morning

Jansson is a class CB, hopefully his injury is not too serious

What does Grayson know about CB's, his teams were clueless defensively & generally needed three goals to win

    Morning all...

It was poor finishing in front of the goal that let us down, we’re creating chances, we are passing the ball around, we’re pressuring the opposition and closing them down when we haven’t got the ball, in general we’re playing some great football.

Bamford, Alioski, Roberts all squandered some great scoring opportunities that you would have expected them to slot away. As long as we’re playing as well as we have been the past 4 games and creating the chances then we shouldn’t be too concerned.

Morning all. A bank holiday here today. Having a family meal out for youngest daughters birthday. I’ve no teenage kid s left after today so definitely getting old. Apologies lads for not joining in over weekend and maybe a few more days. Saturday’s game still proving way too raw for me to discuss or analyse. Just want to try and forget it <wah>

Actually we were linked with Norwood, and many felt he would be a very good signing for the money mentioned. I’ve always thought mcgoldrick was decent and would have been ok with him in the squad, but underwhelmed if he was star signing!

People say ‘no shots on target’ sometimes as if he means they weren’t decent chances. Sometimes it does mean that, Saturday it didn’t.

Don’t know if Bamford is fit... he’s one of those languid types that never looks fit.

Jansson is a very complex character. We all recall him getting knocked out by a regulation header once! He’s needy and an attention seeker... but also committed, passionate and a very good player at this level. Play-acting and not injured at all? Unlikely... hamming it up a bit? Maybe... he has previous! Let’s just hope that whatever it is he recovers in two weeks.

Cooper. I’ve been critical of in the past, but he’s been great this season. Centre halves, like keepers have their mistakes magnified.

    Morning ristac

We just have not been able to create the opportunities.

Let's not forget we have got rid of Viera and Saiz this season, without replacing them!

I still find it incomprehensible how we did not strengthen our squad in January.

We had a good indicator between the start of the season and Christmas that injuries were going to take its toll.

    What a gamble!

Morning Leon, not time to panic yet???

I am convinced that if Bielsa had used Brown to full effect we'd be on more points then we are now!!!

    Morning all <ok>

Izzy Brown would probably have got some game time if he was on the bench Saturday, but he was ill and it was confirmed by the club later and a tweet from Brown himself before kick-off.

Really bad result but from a pretty good performance especially in the first half. We could have been 4 up by half hour that's how good we were. Bamford had a sleepless night again as he fluffed 3 sitters last time out too, so he's getting there but not quite there yet.

Big Mick says Leeds will deffo win automatic this year and he has also accepted that Bamford doesn't want to play for Ireland yet. Bamford told Mick that he has been out injured and wants to get back to full fitness and doesn't want to jeopardise his commitment to Leeds Utd's promotion push. Mick was ok with this and expects O'Bamford to join up with the squad next season.

Still lots of keyboard warriors slamming Cooper and a few more players which is crazy, yes we're all disappointed but FFS.

Pity we have to wait a while before our next game as Milwall would have been goosed after their extra time stint yesterday. One good result is that we wont see Ferguson as his red card carries into league matches. Should have been a double red anyway. I know we get some wall fans on here but yesterday showed the world what a bunch of cheating twats. Harris is a disgrace as manager and we saw that last time they were on the box because he wanted the big screen turned off. Cooper went to take out Brighton's player to allow them a free run on goal. That tactic came off the training ground so goal shouldn't have stood. There was spite and bite in everything they did

I think the opposite, we’ve created oodles of opportunities, we’ve just not taken them.

Oddly enough my son in laws trad group was playing in temple bar yesterday.was telling me he hardly saw an Irish perso. Place was jammed with foreign tourists and with pubs charging 7.50 for a pint of Guinness, I’m not surprised there were no Irish. The prices were increased as the night went on. We’re not that daft

Pontus out for 3 weeks so not joining up with Swedish squad, so he will miss maybe 2 games. Berardi is fit and we have Halme so hope he doesnt revert to using Phillips and losing his quarter back role, but he might if Forshaw is fit?

Hola everyone last day today but nine weeks on friday till greece. I took money left from sept holiday and still have half left. People say spain is not cheap anymore well it is here.
Saturday was indeed a game of two halves First we could have been three up Second we missed another and i started to feel uneasy so ordered two more brandies. It was the turn of the defense to cock up and where was the left full back?. Never saw any other midfielder try and help Phillips out.Pontus in my opinion did what he could on one leg. Had to laugh when he missed the goal as it would have been brilliant. So wanted him to make a save in goal. Only team i hate we play next and we better win.

Not mentioned or posted since Saturdays disappointment!!!
Same old story, lots of possession no goals!!!
If Barn door can do that to Cooper what will the Prem players like Aguero, Salah, Kane etc. Do, shudder to think.
Oh and on the possesion front, didn’t we take the piss out of Yap Stam here at LS11 when his Reading side came here and just played it square across the back???
