The eagle video - what d'ye reckon?

The Eagle is obviously a reincarnation of Mr James "Timothy" Savile.

There are already spoofs out about it.

 

Because Chariots of Fire is about the 1924 Paris Olympics and the video was in Montreal, where they also speak French, so I would say it is pretty obvious.

What sort of Eagle was it ?

According to that New Statesman article, experts have said it looks like an Eastern Imperial Eagle which comes from a different continent.

When you see the "snatch" bit zoomed in, it does look a bit fake - however, if it's not fake, this is even freakier feeling for some reason

Fake as ****. You can tell from the bit where it turns round before dropping down.

Also, clearly the air speed velocity of a laden Golden Eagle would be too low to pick it up, even if it grasped it by the husk, or carried it on a line with another Golden Eagle, grasping the line under the dorsal feathers...

 

It was quite bold to pull of such a stunt.
