what a farce this is turning out to be .. crowds of 200+ to less than 1000 ..The EFL said "we will revamp it and get it rolling" magic ... more like a conjurers trick to make it disappear more likely! it is a worthwhile cup for the lower 2 divisions .. and over the years has been worthwhile for a number of clubs..and players who may never have been able to get to the standard to play at Wembglee .. open to develop squads what a f****** joke WAS IT CROUCH'S SON OR HIM! ALMOST DOUBLE THE AGE OF SOME ON THE PITCH! ....... It is supposed to be the checkatrade trophy so why has the EFL hijacked it to the EFL trophy........
It was simply down to the EPL. We do not want to play younger players in our full XI's so here is some crumbs from our TV revenue and we will enter teams in your competition. Fans have reacted for once collectively. The problem of the EPL and development stage pros, caused by the EPL clubs should be addressed by the EPL and FA not via a football league competition.
