I didn't realise that this was still going on. I thought it was just a preseason thing. Not saying it had any effect on the players but I'm not sure I like that the film crews were in and around league/cup games etc. I obviously wasn't reading closely enough first time around. I know the reasoning behind it (US Market etc) but looking at what has happened in front of these cameras over the last 4 months is this yet another thing that will be used to beat us over the head & another bloody distraction mid season? http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/stevewilson/2012/08/liverpool_documentary_should_m.html
A public spreading of the legs for a fistful...of dollars...certainly not my cup of rosey lee this will be as useful to us fans as a magnum .44 sized hole in the head. A right turn this is not...Clyde Yes I have been watching Clint films lately (Eastwood not Dempsey)
They will cut out a lot of the BS or the bad stuff and try to shine it all in a positive light.......I think.
Yeah it will be edited to show the good but not the bad and the ugly. Even so I'm not sure the sudden impact of this will be worth a few dollars more
It will be interesting I think but we need to do the work on the field. Also, got my new warrior jersey in, very nice but I do miss the adidas stuff, love me some adidas kit. But I think they go through the city and try to show the link of the club with the city as well in it which will be nice.
Would be nicer if they were tring to actually do some work with the people of the city though mate all seems a tad hollow to me that kind of thing especially when you take a walk round the ground and see the state of the Anfield area. Definitely agree we should be concentrating on the actual football rather than this I'm still not convinced these guys have their priorities right.
I just dont get the we want top 4 but then having to sell to buy it seems? I dont to be Chelsea or City, I want us to be self-sufficient but I don't know, something seems off, but I don't know what goes on behind the scenes so I don't want to overstep yet. Same with BR as well, just hope for good results and at least exciting play but I will say this, if we continue to lack a goal-scorer and are useless in front of goal and we missed another chance to buy someone..... again..... that will just feel a little too daft for my liking. Anyway lad, off to bed gotta get up for work n that, will chat you up in the morning sweetheart!
The LFC website is full of propaganda ****e, I fully expect this documentary to be the same. I can also see a lot of interviews with players such as Downing, Cole and Adam talking about how they are looking forward to the comming season and pushing for top 4. We will all be thinking "we will be lucky to get top 10 with you lot in the squad".
It'll be. 'There is a lot of excitement around Anfield today, as Liverpool are set to announce the signing of creative attacker Oussama Assaidi, a player who every one hopes will soon be a Kop hero. Assaidi has been a big hitter in the Dutch leagues, and the club are confident that he can do the same here to'. Not this: 'There is a big surprise today as Liverpool announce the signing of some Moroccan bloke who nobody has heard of'.
It wasn't all access, the cameras and footage is all edited - it's basically a sales pitch to the American market. They weren't allowed in the dressing room after the match last Saturday.
