Blood Hound SSC in public for the first time. Amazing machine. Imagine sitting in this thing when they crank it up to the 1000 mph.

Gogglebox (Ch4, 27/10/17) – viewers are watching the first part of BBC drama Gunpowder. A catholic priest is discovered in hiding at a closet catholic lady’s house and is taken away by the King’s men.

Classic quote from a young lady viewer: “Oh bless, he’s going to get his head chopped off.”

It was interesting seeing the reactions of the viewers as the young priest was hung, drawn and quartered – very graphically. I think not many were fans of Hammer films or Steven King by the hands covering faces.

Should not make judgements from an individual's appearance but is that not the 'Omen' sign on his forehead?

Good day, Cyc. Sorry but I find this utterly grotesque, and I am NOT jealous either! <laugh>

(Rock star or not, he's always looked like something out of a Munster or Addams Family movie to me?).

Now come on, BayernKenny, would you really be able to keep her interested? You would enjoy trying, of course, but most of the time you would be showing her your Bayern München scrapbook, oder?

Reminds me of that scene from The Sopranos with Pauli and Silvio:

Pauli: “You remember your first blowjob?”

    Silvio: “Sure I do, yeah”

Pauli: “Oh yeah? How long did it take for the guy to come?”

    <laugh>

SH; I am hurt by your assumption that my physical appearance and libido MAY have diminished over the many years of carousing undertaken in the name of research.

Anyway, a twenty two year old bint may still be interested in scrapbooks; Bayern Munchen or otherwise! I have discussed this matter with one of my many German 'nieces'.

    Cheeky toerag!

What does a twenty two year old woman see in a great grandfather with a hundred million pound bank account?

North of the border, she must be considered old, BK. She should have a house and three nippers by now. Mick obviously wooed her with “I Wanna Be Your Man” and “(I Can’t Get Noor) Satisfaction” but it will end up as “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”. <laugh>

No offence was intended, BK, but a 22-year-old is just too young for anyone over the age of, say, 50 even? There have been notable exceptions in the lives of famous people, the first that comes to mind is Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill of course. The vast gap in their ages made no difference for their deep and enduring love for each other?

Anyway, I am sure you are a handsome sod but, again, 22 has to be too young!

    Yours sincerely,

    El Cheeky Toerag.

P.S. Never heard it called 'Research' before; that's interesting. Will you be doing a Paper on it for your PhD, or have you already done it?
