I have a few trilbys which I never wear nowadays, a panama, and a couple of caps, one Swedish and too big (can rotate around my head with it on - yes, alright alright, that must be huge!) and one tartan which I wear a lot (got to show-off my 25% breeding on the dam side)............. Bloody York fashion show must have gotten into me bad! Should have concentrated more on the hosses, maybe I'd have have done just a bit better, but I doubt it!
Stetson shop (www.HUT.de) in Koln is one of my guilty pleasures. All sorts of headwear by the famous brand plus other less expensive makes ava

"Why Australia has a serious gambling problem" Author: Clarissa Sebag-Montefiore, CNN. Lord, what an article! Without doubt not the only country with this problem. Certainly a similar one in Germany, mostly with the 'pokies' and football gambling, but nowhere near to this extent, I would say. I find that horseracing, thoroughbred and harness, are not so popular, in general, down here where I live? http://edition.cnn.com/2017/08/28/health/australia-gambling-addiction-poker-slot-machines/index.html
SH; think we have discussed betting on football in Germany before. This has replaced betting on the horses in many of the 'bookies' I used to frequent with my Mum in Munich; strangely not so much so in Koln. You can bet on virtually any match in Europe and the wider world so it caters to punters morning, day and night. Here in the UK a discussion on the FOBT's (Fixed Odds Betting Terminals) does not seem complete without a representative of the bookmaker's association whose primary aim is to increase the profits of its members. Reminds me of the debates about problem drinking where one or more representatives of the licensed drinks industry are included in an argument primarily about the health of a large group of individuals; vested interest or what. In Scotland we are still awaiting a European ruling on whether minimum pricing is lawful; you can guess where the opposition comes from! Even as a gambler and drinker I feel the health and financial well being of a growing number of individuals should and must take precedence over a perceived freedom and the profits of bookmakers (online or otherwise) and purveyors of alcohol. Roll on 11th October when I will be drowning in the local brews of Koblenz followed by an internal soaking by Kolsch! To complete this kettle, black, pot article any views on Eminent at 16/1 for the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe; at least he looks a certain runner and could start second or third favourite.
Apologies, forget the binary business, took the trouble to look-up the meaning of the word and it is quite straightforward. Guess it's in the business of computer science that I am most certainly non-binary!
It would appear there is an intense and ongoing discussion on the QPR section of the Football Forum on one Natalie Sawyer's breasts. The things that are discussed on not606, everything including the kitchen sink? Nice artwork though. Well, if you are a QPR fan (like me) guess it's best to discuss anything but football?
"Southgate wants England to excite Wembley" Well, that's just great and so do I, but can't say I'm exactly on the edge of my seat.
Totally off topic, but has everyone seen the "Irish bat video". Funniest bloody thing I've seen in ages - like real life Father Ted
Swanny you wouldn't believe it. Today I went to visit a mate who's into hats and caps, he brought one of these today at a car boot sale. I'm as jealous as hell. please log in to view this image
Hollywood Beach, Florida, already experiencing tropical storm winds as a foretaste of Hurricane Irma. I know this is very voyeuristic but isn't it amazing to be able to watch live footage from the beach there? Hope everybody is safe and sound https://www.local10.com/weather/hollywood-beach-cam
