Long has been the debate concerning the complexion and physical shape of Jesus. There is no clear indication of what the man looked like, so it's impossible to properly know the truth. What can be said though is that the modern version of Jesus is in all likelihood wrong. He was a Jewish person born and raised in Palestine. Forensic anthropologists from the UK and Israel worked together with computer programs to get what they think is a more accurate depiction of what what the man may have looked like.

The picture below is not of Jesus, it's just an image of a type of face and complexion from a person of that time.

Apologies to anyone who may be offended. It is not my intention to do so.

The person may have been real Smoke, but for mine, if he existed, he was a mere bloke like the rest of us. Not the son of a God.

I doubt Jesus actually existed. I'm sure there were preachers, cult leaders etc.. Around back then. They were probably a dime a dozen. And the character of Jesus probably grew from stories of one such bloke.

Looks nothing like David Icke. <laugh>

West Midlands Serious Crime Squad have a poster like that for a man wanted for dodgy carpentry, last seen fleeing across Dudley Canal.

I don't have the tech-skill to put the picture up here, but maybe the world was too hard on Cecilia Gimenez, the amateur restorer who ''restored" the Ecce Homo portrait of Jesus at Borja in Spain about ten years ago, and got universally battered. Maybe the old duck was smarter than the art brigade ?
If someone can find it and display it here, I'd be grateful.

Mike Pompeo Tells Tory MPs UK Needs Tougher 'Grand Strategy' On China
US secretary of state says Boris Johnson must not be naive about Beijing's influence and intentions, HuffPost UK has learned.

Pompeo needs to mind his own ****ing business, and to ****-off meddling in UK and European affairs. I am more than convinced now that Bojo is this White House administration's very own "Manchurian Candidate". Given half a chance, Bojo will sell the UK down the river, Europe too, for that matter. Just wait and see.

He is right, not just UK but every country. I see first hand what China is doing in Africa, they virtually own it now as they have bought off all the politicians and are taking what they want. Go and visit Africa and you will get a shock how entrenched the Chinese are there. They cant do this in the west so are infiltrating in different ways. If people do not get serious on China soon then serious problems are ahead. HK and Taiwan will be first go.

As we all know, the name Redskins is now to be consigned to the garbage bin, and pressure is beginning to mount on other teams with suspect names. In Canada, Edmonton is about to drop the Eskimos from it's name. Guess who's also on the pressure list? Yep, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Braves.

the only way to stop a country as vast in size as China is to have unified blocs of power opposing them.
they will have been encouraged by the UK splitting away from the EU which of course weakens both the UK and the EU.

the UK now isolated is getting weaker by every passing year.
Brexit was apparently meant to benefit us with favourable trade deals.
So far we have annoyed ALL of our closest European neighbours and antagonised the biggest country outside the EU - China.
not exactly going well is it.

As a Washington NFL team supporter, (I'm not sure I can call myself a Redskins fan now...) I do see why some might find that nickname/logo might be offensive, though I do not find it offensive at all. But the thing is it trickles down to other parts of the world where 'some' think that certain names are now offensive because it hurts feelings or is very sensitive etc. If we carry on down that route then eventually we are all doomed to being tagged as like a serial number on the back of a pack of crisps, box of pens or pair of trousers. Where dos it stop...!?!?!?

I get it if your local team is called the Huntingdon Hitlers, the Portsmouth Pol Pots or Klu Klux Celtics but I have read today that an all girl group from the good ole US of A, The Dixie Chicks, (yeah, I can't picture them either...) have posted that they are changing their name because of the Deep South connotations the Dixie name brings and the racial slurs associated with all things slavery. They are changing it to just 'The Chicks'…!!

You couldn't write it up could you...?!?

Soon they will change their name again to "The" as some femenist group will point out "Chicks" is offensive, it will happen. We need to stop pandering and just ignore to these idiots with their twitter outrage and they will go away.

No, he is not right to meddle in affairs this side of the big pond! Long time ago now, have to admit, but I don't think I ever saw a Chinese in the many West African countries I lived and worked in, for quite long periods at times.

last day without wearing a mask in a shop in England then.
going by how few people are still wearing them there should be plenty of £100 fines given out tomorrow.

Its a shame some people are still too scared to wear one but I am sure within a couple of years it will feel as normal as wearing a seatbelt in a car.
