I thought that with it being the Diamond jubilee I should open a thread to talk about what we are all doing to celebrate and how this sort of time makes you proud to be part of this great country,
What is everyone doing over the long weekend, is there anyone who has to still work, other than that what are you all doing, is it a fully British weekend, doing stuff like going to the pub.
I am getting out all the England flags as they need to be out anyway for the European championship and I am also celebrating as I am proud to be English,
So here is your chance what are you all doing.
Also I would like you to add what makes you proud to be British, what is the greatest thing about Britain (Simply why puts the great in Britain) For me it is being the home of Football.

I am always proud to be English despite having an Irish parentage. I was cheering the England team onto victory over the Belgians wearing my shirt with the three lions on it. I am looking forward to next Friday when Euro 2012 kicks off. I have also been out with Gary celebrating our Queens 60 years on the throne.
