Psychologically it will be a massive blow to whoever loses tomorrow now Norwich have won. A loss us will make life very difficult in our mindset. A loss for the mags would cripple them mentally, the game just got a lot bigger.

Norwich could put us both to bed in the next few weeks.

Look at Palace's fixtures, they've got some tough games coming up. They might be there or thereabouts at the end.

Those other teams at the bottom will be desperate for a draw tomorrow.

Could Boro end up being the only North East side in the PL ?

27 points to play for, with 2/3 points separating a few teams. Too early to call it, Palace are getting dragged in every week, deeper and deeper.

Norwich win today I could see that coming a mile off.

If Swansea were to lose today that will give them the jitters

It is way too early to call it, it's a good point and something to hang onto if the worst happens, but the end of the season isn't really my issue. My point was the immediate psychological effect following this result. Relegation battles are bunch of **** teams low on confidence trying to hold their nerve. We're down to the nettigritty now where even having a one game at a time outlook(which i think is the sanest way to approach fixtures) takes a psychological bashing. 27 points to play for or not the heat on tomorrows fixture has just been turned right up.

It's sad state of affairs when both of our clubs are languishing at the bottom of the table....especially when Leicester are top <ffs>

Place 10 home defeats now, we have to catch them now.

The bad thing about Norwich is that they appear to be hitting a bit of form.

A draw against them and the mags would not be so bad and we do have 2 games on them.

They (Norwich) have some difficult games ahead.

Whatever happens, no way will we stay up unless we get some wins and it's still in our own hands. Win 1 of these games in hand and we are out of the bottom 3.

    Still a crap result though.

You won't get an argument from me , how we won at home to the worst team in the league today is beyond me .
We played absolutely dreadful ..... but there is a reasonable chance we are already safe if we don't get another point .That Norwich game hurt us a bit today , but it really threw a wrench into Newcastle and Sunderlands chances . A draw would be nice for your game tomorrow but it would be nice to see Big Sam walk out with a revengeful win amongst the Newcastle faithful
