City have conceded two goals in 11 games (league and cup). Can anyone remember a defensive run better than that?
Great Achievement which reflects Bruceys tactics and defensive background along with a group of defensive players which offer a great blend of experience and youth
No mate. She has some health issues these days which prevents her going lots of stuff. She lives in Wollongong with her family and has done for years.
It was good in the top tier relatively compared to our league position and as it's not changed that much it's not that surprising it's doing well at this level. Didn't keep us up though.
Two of my mum's sisters came from Hull to Wollongong following WW1 and had 8 kids between them. All married and had kids and about half remain living in the Wollongong area. One aunt reached 95 and the other 104. The former lived in Market Square and one of her daughters still lives there in the same house.
We have had some decent defensive runs but after a quick scan can only find one of 2 goals in 8 matches in the 70's.
It's a close call, on name alone it would have to be decided on the toss of a coin. ***I'm going to look at my book of hilarious place names in Australia***
We lived in Kirrawee for 30 years- it's Aboriginal translation...... " where the little fat one lives".
Or what about going to Humpybong Park in Redcliffe. Which just so happens to be down the road from Bee Gees Way...
Or where our rellies have lived for over 30 years, Gnangara, Perth. Perth is beautiful, on our last visit it was only the thought of never seeing City play live again that got me on the plane home, oh and the kids.
If I ever own a racehorse i'm going to call it Humpybong Parkā¦. see if the commentator resists laughing..
