anyone else a sad bastard and watch this?

thought Nick Clegg did well and got across points on immigration and europe successfully. got a bit of a doing off the other two over trident and defence but generally seemed more honest that Gordon Brown or David Cameron, he must somehow be a more accomplished liar <ok>

Gordon Brown made a awful lot of good points but his delivery is terrible and i struggle to believe he is not an android. he performed very well on defence, foreign aid, political reform and a random question about the pope (was that you girvan?) so generally his content was very good but badly delivered.

struggle to be objective with David Cameron because he is a tory **** but thought he performed well on defence but looked completely lost on immigration, just kept saying he'd get it under control and tighten our borders without ever really saying how. very little substance, dont understand how some polls are saying he won (although he was much more confrontational than the other two) but i'm not really impartio when it comes to the ****.

and in advance, **** you all, i already know i'm a boring ****.

I thought this debate was actually a debate. Rather than just anecdotes about ****s they'd met in the street.

All three actually did well. I thought Clegg won it on style but Brown on substance. Cameron, to be fair, was somewhere in the middle. Although he had no answers for a couple of pertinent points. Mainly free eye tests and immigration caps.

Clegg is the stand-out candidate for me after two debates. Some of his policies need work but he actually has some good ideas. A coalition government of Liberal and Labour would suit me fine right now.

Did anyone see Salmond getting interviewed after the debate? ****ing cringeworthy ****. He mentioned Scotland and Scottish people about 20 times in 2 minutes. I hate his ****ey parochial attitude. He's a ****ing arse-biscuit.

I watched it and thought Brown probably done better <yikes>

Cameron - "I was out running this morning with someone just back from Afghanistan, although I struggled to keep up"

    Politicians are all ****s.

I think someone asked Nick Clegg how many women he's slept with. His reply was no more than 50 <laugh> <laugh> My brother told me that, could have been talking pish.

Didnt see it - but i have noticed that since Nick Clegg did well last week its suddenly very evident the Tory supporting news papers and broadcasters have it in for him. They clearly see the lib dems doing well as worse than labour and have actually laid off Gordon Brown for a week

Anyone else notice this? Or is it just me?

Maybe its as an outside who couldnt give a **** who wins?

The Tory ****-rags are ridiculous because 99% of their readers will vote Tory anyway. So by slating Clegg they just make swing voters have a stronger dislike of the Conservatives for being so sleazy and underhand.

Some of todays Dail Mail headlines <laugh>

Had the misfortune to pick up the Daily Mail in the barber's the other day. That ****ing rag is so tory it's beyond belief. Gordon Brown was getting the blame for everything from the volcanic dust to Celtic not winning the league (i made that last bit up). There was no dalance, just a total anti labour diatribe.

know what you mean anport, the daily mail, the sun and two a lesser extent the daily telegraph are the most popular papers in the UK, all are backing the tories and have been laying into the lib dems

    daily mail

    the sun

    the daily telegraph

all good non partisan journalism today then <ok>

i thought it was much more even last night over all but cameron pissed me off most because i felt he actually answered the question the least out of the three. immigration is meant to be one of the more important things he's campaigning on and he didnt have a clue!
