After an uneventfull morning I made my way to the rendevous when suddenly the fate word '' I'm in the pub '' blinkered on my mobile. As I entered the establishment I was greeted by a vision in red, Diiligaf . We forced our way to the bar and when the usual tussle of '' I'll get these '' didn't materialise I recognised the fact that here was a man so tight that he only breathed in , that the only way I was getting a drink out of him was to stick my fingers down his throat.

Refreshments finally obtained we fought our way past '' Alright guv's ? '' and '' Sorry geezer '' to a corner table which was being fiercely guarded by one BillyB .

As I looked around us to the mixed throng of Swansea and Chelsea fans in animated banter, it was a world away from my last , shall we say close encounters of the late 70's and early 80's (a happily distant memory ) and a great atmosphere.

We were soon joined by some Chelsea guests Logic to us board users and his son .

In this convivial atmosphere ( aided by an amber coloured liquid which slipped down quite easily ) as footy fans we moaned about ticket prices , grounds , why we Swans fans love english teams to start chanting '' England England '' then fall silent as the second and third goals slip into their nets. How we are seen to help in the breeding of our National dish which usually finds it's way onto their Sunday plates ( though it's great for other occasions and a variety of meals all year around ) This portion brought to you by the Welsh Farmers Association.

Eventually SA9 found his way to join us ( Down to Dilligaf's diections, ) and more convivial chat ensued past histories divulged, but the talk then turned ugly..........

What had been an enjoyable interlude was soured by unfounded and ill concieved such as '' I liked Mark Gower '' , '' He was my love child ''...and more spuriously that I owned a Mark Gower Shirt.

Having calmed down and realised that due to the din in the premises, I had explained to the three of these deafwits is that once due to a dodgy I had an urgent bodily function problem once in Pennard down the Gower.

In other words I didn't have a Gower Shirt, well you get the picture!

That not being good enough for Dilli he then compounded everything by saying Gower was in the squad.

    I left soon after.

Seriously great to meet up am only now recovering , went onto a halloween party and am suffering, here's to the next home game hic!
