it seemed to me that carrol was the last real local hero, but now he's gone, im not angry at him, i dont hate him i am just really really really dissapointed with him.
i really cant believe he has done this to us, just stunned that andy carrol would do this to us. thats all i will say.

looks like there never will be another Shearer...he gave up everything, money trophies, fame, could have had everything on the football planet at his feet...but gave that up for the No.9 shirt of our Newcastle United...that number 9 shirt should be hung up now...Shearer was the last person ever to deserve that shirt, noone will ever deserve that shirt

    Absolutly gutted...

Ouch. Tiny tim bites back. Get angry at Plymouth, or Exeter or something, they're your local rivals.

why does it matter how many games you have been to, im probably more of a fan than most supporters on tyneside

just becuase sunderland cant attract any fan outside of a 1 mile radius of sunderland.

is there a large sunderland contingent in nottingham

you call me daft prick when you spend more of your life hating newcastle than you do supporting your own club

    i really do pity you

That shows you exactly what you know about north east football mate. Absolutely **** all. Both clubs draw their support from far and wide, a lot of Newcastles comes from Northumberland and surrounding, a lot of Sunderlands comes from Tyneside, Durham etc.

Support who you like, i couldn't give a **** in honesty, but when you come calling the 'local rivals' mackem scum and what not. Well pull the ****ing other one, you mean nothing to us, and we should mean nothing to you.

You're Cornish. Gan surfing or something.
