What a game !! It was fantastic, We may have lost our home record but we came out of the game with glowing reports and credit by everyone, I was so proud of all the lads as they never gave up and for my own personal MOM i have to give it to Dyer who played his socks off. It was a pity that Sinclair fluffed his chance of an equaliser as Man united could not have complained if we got a draw, but it wasn't to be so i congratulate Man United on their win and wish them all the luck in gaining another title......To me yesterday proved that the swans have arrived and justified their premiership status and we will give anyone a game as we fight on to establish ourselves as a good premiership side....well played you SWANS....

that game showed why man u will be champions and the difference between the top 4 and others. whilst you would have probably won or drawn that match against pretty much everyone in the division, they were the worse team but still managed to get the 3 points, which is all that matters. they took their chance but sinclair and others couldnt, on another week they would have scored those and preserved the home record.

there is probably not another team who would be able to play united at their own game and be disappointed at not getting something from the game, thats a sign of progress as a club. IMO the swans wont go down the burnley, blackpool and hull route of having an blinding start and then drop like a stone because you're game is based on possession, and its not as if you can stop one player to stop the whole team playing like you could with charlie adam last season, nor is the game based upon counter attacking the opposition, if you dont have the ball you cant score so thats got to be a posotive for the swans <ok>

SS99 - I would also give MOTM to Dyer, gave Evra a torrid time as demonstrated by the fact Man Utd had to substitute him (risk of getting 2 yellows).

Swamp - Man City must surely be favourites to be champions?

in my opinion? no, man u have experience of winning titles, man city dont. we havnt seen how they react to a defeat or two on the bounce. when it comes to the business end of the season united come in to their own, something has to give with city sooner or later and while they are playing really well and winning games at the moment, if united get their noses ahead of them then i think they have the nous to stay there <ok>

i agree swamp.man united are past masters of being behind at this stage of the season only to catch up and overtake and go on to win the title, man city are impressive though but can they last the pace. I also have been impressed with Arsenal the way they have clawed their way up the league and in contention of at least a top 4 place. I think we can finish in the top half of the season when brendan brings in some new players. never write of man united while the master sir Alex is the boss....

surely it would be worth spending big money on a striker to finish the numerous chances you create? even someone like yakubu would score goals for fun in that team, graham is a decent player but thats surely an area you can improve upon, it could be the difference between relegation and survival, or equally 17th place and a mid table finish <ok>

we wont spend big on one player as we are not like that but we could easily spend £5 million for the right player imo. The problem is not finding these players the main problem is the wages we are prepared to pay. our top earners are on 25k/week and that is low for a player to accept in the premiership. players of the same caliber would come like a shot for that kind of money but the better players would turn us down ,so unless we up the wages for the players who will enhance the team then we don't have much chance of getting anyone better than what we have already got...

Didn't see your game but saw the result so will assume you gave them a run for their money.

Seriously, what game were you watching?

All credit to Swansea but United were in total control from start to finish.

I wouldn't say that, you were very lackadaisy at times during the game, and we controlled the game for most of the second half, but then you are good at defending a lead, and just stifled attacks as you knew we had to take the game to you.

Oh by the way your goal was well offside, the linesman should have gone to specsavers <doh>

they were never in control some of our players that cost peanuts ran and out played some of the multi million pound players ragged, also you would have no complaints if sinclair had scored his easy sitter and we drew, in control you certainly was not. a better side i would agree but we gave as good as we got..

It was level, therefore onside. Swansea had a good spell just after half time but other than that were pegged back.

I mean this in no way disrespectful but had the Swans scored, United would have scored another. There is no way that having seen City win again they'd have come away from the match with anything other than three points. It's a shame the game wasn't a spectacle.

Ruffian it wasn't , seen another camera angle and he was offside, and not just by a little! Anyway it's besides the point you won, history will always show that, and won't remember would should have been.

how do you know you would score another. you scored an off side goal and could not score again however much you tried, to me the second half it was us who controled the game that stopped united from scoring. overall we deserved a draw but it wasn't to be, but like sir alex said "swansea made it very difficult for us as we needed to score more than one....fair play to swansea"......

    How do I know?

Twelve premier league titles, that's how I know. United had two or three more gears they could have moved up, they just didn't use them as they didn't need to.

Swansea gave an excellent account of themselves though and deserve full credit, I'm sure that continuing along those lines will mean staying up.

Probably true, you just seem to do enough on certain games, and on your last point I hope so thanks <ok>

i think you are underestimating how well we stopped united from scoring, fergie was not a happy man with just one goal as he wanted more for his goal difference seeing as your rivals city have scored a shed full and that might come into play at the end of the season. united tried very hard but we stopped you by controlling the ball in large parts of the game. Its always the same when you don't get what you want and turn around and say you never turned up when the truth is you came up against a bunch of players that have worked hard in training that went out to stop united playing their normal game, united are a great team and will most certainly challenge city for the title as to me its now a two horse race with chelsea losing yet again....
